About me
Hey. This is my bigass story. Don't you dare click back. Hemmingway once said: "The World is a fine place. And also one worth fighting for." In all honesty, I only believe the second part. Well, I'm Maglor, and if you don't know me then you might get to know me better. My real name, is Connor, Im 20 years old, living in a crappy apartment in England, and I don't like it one bit. Unfortunately, life of a musician is a bit well... To put it quite franky- when you first out it's pretty damn shit. I play guitar for a living. It pays the bills, gives me great enjoyment and I get a thrill from playing in a band. Overall, if you can play an instrument with a talent, are able to make the right moves, and want to succeed, you'll be livin' the good life. Trust me. A reason why I say this is because it might just give you a bit of perspective. I have a relatively high amount of spare time because of my choice of job, and that's why I use Kongregate quite often. I find it has all sorts of characters in it, the good ones, who rock and share interests with me and others and keep the chat stable (Think a bit deep here, that doesen't really mean moderators.) and then there are the assholes. the moronic spammers and the suck-ups who want to be moderators and think they are clever going about it. Well, you're wrong. If there's anything I've learnt from visiting other sites and spending a hell of a lot of time on this one, It's that on this type of system, (you know, the chat and play thing?) there are a horrendously high amount of these people. I dislike all of them, and I will say this quite clearly. You are an asshole, and an epic failure. Up yours. If there was any way at all I could change this site, it would be how people become moderators. It's pretty disgraceful in my opinion. But anyway, I' don't wanna portray myself as an asshole, or start a warzone over moderation, so I'll stop with this type of content. I was born June 27th, in the Pilgrim hospital, in Boston, Lincolnshire, England. in the fantastic year of 1988. Or was it? I really don't know, because I wasn't really able to think like I can now back then, (Being a baby and all...) and for all I know, the year could have been a terrible financial year and to be honest, you and I don't care. I lived in several places when I was small, and I have lots of scattered memories. Eventually I came to stay at one place- a bungalow in Saracens Head. This is just about 11 miles away from where I live now, Which is Spalding. Anyway, at this point I was bout' 10, and I was moving into secondary education. You know what? It was great. I managed to pass my 11+. Lemme guess... Wtf is an 11+? Well, basically the 11+ is an intelligence test that's only optional. I decided to take it, because it reaps the reward of going to a Grammar school. A Grammar school (if you don't know this...) is a school for the mentally gifted... Or something like that. I wouldn't say it's extremely rare to get into (mainly becuase we had about 900 students in the school, and it wasn't really a very big school, and it wasn't in a very big area either) but it was just somewhere where I could be among more intelligent people than most and no offense, it was a fucking awesome school. The people there that went to the school with me played a great part in my interest of playing guitar. A lot of people who go to these schools tend to be rebellious and have long hair, listen to metal, and play a rock band instrument. For example. Me. Over the years, I busied away in eduation and made friends here and there, did some bad things (heh, pissed quite a few teachers off I'll tell you that...) and the worst, probably got into smoking. But it was a popularity thing. Don't ask me why, it just was. I stayed on in the sixth form at the school, and went into optional education. I did this for two years till I was 18, and in that time, I put together a band. The same band I'm in now- a death metal band called Sacrafix. We've been through quite a lot of names, but Sacrafix seems to suit us the best. Other things also happened during that time, I took up a motorbike licence and passed with flying colours(I'm a british person. I can spell it this way. HA.). That means I can ride better motorbikes than most people, because I passed my licence with such a high mark. I used to have a Fireblade- until I crashed it. Damn, I miss it... After all that time, eventually I got out of school with 5 A-levels, and 6 GCSE's. That's REALLY REALLY good. Most people in state school get about 2 GCSE's average. In other words, while they work in McDonalds, I work in Microsoft. You get the perspective? When I left school, I got a job. But it was shit, so I'm not gonna name it. It made me scrape by, whilst living with my father, but I wanted more out of life. So, I decided to take Bloody Cross (Our band name at the time) to the next level. We did quite a few gigs together in pubs, nightclubs and bars, and then we started to get some real money. So, I quit my crappy job and decided to be a Lead guitarist full time. I have to say, it's the greatest thing I have ever done in my life. Shortly after we started to roll in the millions (tch, I wish...) Me and the band bought an apartment in Spalding. We all live in it, and we have two computers between about 6 people. It's pretty cramped, but us dudes are like family. We make music together, it doesen't matter. Shortly after that, we changed our Band name to Sacrafix. It was my Idea, and I had the name in the back of my head for three years. So as you can imagine, it made me pretty happy to call it what I wanted. Overall, I think you can agree with me that Sacrafix is a better name than Bloody Cross. Come on, Bloody Cross sucked. I hated that name. But yeah, our ex- Drummer chose that name, and he's an asshole. He's long gone, and his band sucks compared to ours. Mwah. The main reason I'm telling you this is because I formed the band, and I am proud of it. And I also thought that you might find it interesting. I joined Kong early 08', and got quite addicted to it. I have only recently been fit enough to come back on the same level I used to, because recently I had a terrible motorbike accidently leaving me pretty damn beat up. It trashed the Fireblade (Like I said.) and left bed-ridden in a hospital for about 3 months. So, think of me as an old friend who's come back to stay. I'm trying to get more money for another bike, maybe one a bit less powerful. After all, the crash was sort of my own fault because I'm not qualified to actually ride it yet, and I couldn't control it that well. It was like a damned dragon... Don't tell anyone :) Well, Now you know my life story, All that's left for you do know is acknowledge it, and even better you could talk to me. I'm always happy to chat, and I'm always in Universal Turing Machine (Don't ask me why, I just like it better than the other rooms. There are never any moderators :D) that is, when I'm not bursting out an immense guitar solo on my Knight, listening to Megadeth, PanterA and other amazing bands, smoking, sipping Whisky (It can only be Jack Daniels folks) or trying to get lucky. You're not stupid, you know what that means. :D (Hangar 18 is a Megadeth song, incase you're wondering.) Before you leave this page, know this. Cocaine is a great supplement for apple pie.
