Cute Zelda clone. I find that hearts get dropped too often - even when I let myself kill enemies by walking into the, I was never really at risk of dying. Also, I've noticed that the ghosts like to find a wall and just keep moving against it. Otherwise, toss some music in and it's a nice game.
Movement feels a bit choppy. In level 2, it is VERY difficult to make it by the jump with the red ball. Not because of the ball, but because hitting the up-facing spikes somehow kills you. Likewise, for that pit, I cleared it, but died anyway, so hit detection might be a bit off. Gave up at level 3 because I will hit the switch, and doing so kills me.
Came back to this after a month or two of not playing, hit start, and now it's not loading. Tried twice, same thing. Didn't see a report bug button, and I don't wanna flag the game because I remember it being really good. Is this something you could look into?
well, besides being flagged for obvious reasons, this is pretty bad on its own merit. Went left at the start of one of the "levels" and fell through the world. The only good thing about this are the particle effect stars when you run.
Found a bug. At the start of the 3rd level (level after the 2nd boss), I went left instead of right. Ended up invisible scrolling through the level, with no dark filters or anything. Stuck and can't do anything - probably above or below the level.
Really enjoyed/enjoying this game! Only problem that came up, at one point the Red Ghoul ended up on the other side of the left wall in the arena, and moved offscreen. Never came back, but I could hear it attacking.
First of all, I'm really enjoying this game. Well done.
I'd like to say that I was having the same problem as avatar for linzdrew3 wherein the Twenty-One 2 quest was not paying out. After a bunch of tries, I got myself to EXACTLY 17 and it finally worked. You may want to either re-word the description of the quest and get rid of the "or higher" part, or touch up the quest so that a value of 17 or higher gives the quest reward.
Level 6: transparent space right under boss' spine
Level 7: bottom right button
Level 8: Third column from left, bottom button
Level 9: 5th column from left (to tell which row is which, look at the bottom). The thick black one near the top that's perfectly in line with this row.
Level 10: 3rd row, 10th column (looks like it's on a layer above the others)
Level 11: eyebrow on right
Level 12: 3rd column, 4th row
Level 13: Judging columns by bottom row, it's the 4th column. The 2nd from the bottom.
Level 14: the one with less of a face than the others
Level 15: Where I stopped caring. 2/5
I don't mind this game, but I did notice a problem where I cannot jump while running right (I can while running left, though). I need to run, let go of run and hit jump in order to clear that first pit. Otherwise, alright game.
I had fun; t'was enjoyable. Only problem I see is, when I got game over, the "your score" came up as 15151515151515, which I'm pretty sure it wasn't. Otherwise, good game, that could've been way better with a bit of music.
