Well, at least the way we define it (in America…I’m a calculus teacher in Tennessee) there are “counting numbers” which are 1, 2, 3, … then there are “whole numbers” which are 0, 1, 2, 3, … and then there are integers …, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, …
