My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: This is my favourite show. I’m a brony, an obsessive one, because reasons. I love My Little Pony, my favourite pony is Rarity and I’m a brony musician.

Music: Music is pretty much my life. Just now, anyway. Hopefully it will remain that way. I’ve never gone more than half an hour without having some music on. Even in bed I’ve got a melody running through my mind. I love all sorts of music, ranging from 50s jazz, classic rock, glam rock, to all sorts of EDM and DnB from the 21st century. I’m a bass player in a band, as well as an MLP-inspired EDM producer.

Rarity, why do you like being called Rarity?
I’m currently undergoing “pony hypnosis”. What this is is a method of forcing your mind to believe different things, making it more susceptible to stuff, entering a trance etc. I’m hypnotising myself to become Rarity. In THEORY, after a year of daily sessions I should be able to switch between quadped and anthro pony, and experience the relevant visual and mental effects.

Rarity, who are your favourite musicians?
My favourite band is Dave Matthews Band, although I love Replacer, Koan sound, Black Sun Empire, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro.

Rarity, I am unsure that people of your age should be watching shows such as My Little Pony. Explain your reasons for being a brony?
Absolutely. I like the show. I like the fandom. That’s my personal opinion. I don’t mind if you find it weird.
