Much the same as most other 'launch the ' games. Original graphics for sure, the music is a bit meh, but that doesn't matter. As mentioned by "Deadly Silence", the reward system could be a little more generous. The 'secondary hitters' on the ground could give more horizontal boost, apart from that not too horrible.
Not bad.
A serious bug that needs to be sorted though. After you finish the first level, it jumps past several levels. Music is ok and yes it is very Amiga. A bigger play field would be nice to have.
Apart from that this could be a clone of any of the major 'brick smasher games'. Good one.
No sound.... Controls are a little 'fast', but that's better than too slow.
Simple idea for a game.
I suspect this is a 'first game' for this developer, so it's not a bad effort.
Keep trying!
You can complete the game without using Kreds, but you *should* be able to 'buy' ALL of the items via in game coins, even if it means grinding a bit. The one thing that REALLY annoys me about this game, is that you will have a machine that will almost do the job.....until you add a part or even move part of it by even a pixel and it will totally fail. WHY?
When I first saw this, I thought, "another 'driving' game". But I had a go anyway and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is a 'driving' game, but some serious thought has been put into the levels, it's not a case of push the go button and hold it until the end. So far the last level is proving to be surprisingly tricky. The upgrades are priced exactly right, but you still can't get all of them by the end, so choose carefully! A fun little game and it has zombies!
Not a bad game, that is for as far as I got. Graphics are good, sound is atmospheric and the character is oddly cute. BUT! I've gotten stuck in the 'water passage' area, there seems to be a vital 'click to use' point missing, because I've done everything I can think of, but that darn lever will not move and I bet that opens the drain.....
Well. This looks like a 'Storm the House' clone, but it's not as good. Got a machine upgrade and discovered that it only lasts for ONE round..... whats up with that? If you buy an upgrade, it should be permanent, not a one shot. Apart from that, nice graphics, halfway decent sound.
As has already been noted, buying 'extra starting cash' is the way to go.....AFTER you buy the machine gun! Not much will get past a pair of fully upgraded machine guns and if you throw in a sniper tower or two at max upgrade as backup, well you can virtually walk away and let the game do it's thing, on the first four or five levels at least.
Pretty much everything I might say has already been mentioned, but one thing that would definitely be a big help is either a 'cash upgrade' or a 'hero firepower' upgrade.
Otherwise it's a good game.
Not the most brilliant graphics, sound etc I've ever seen......but then TIE Fighter doesn't have super fancy graphics and stuff either and I STILL play that.
This has the same thing TIE Fighter has; playability and that 'just one more go factor' that some games have. Nice one.
Ok, I'm wondering.... it seems after you unlock everything, you can't smash that wall just past the stand where the wallet is, even if you hit the last door with your 'pants on fire'. I've managed to travel over 56k meters (56,000) on survival as well. Does BB ever manage to escape from Gummie Land again?
First game by chance? Pretty ordinary as far as this sort of game goes. Music is pretty good, graphics are nice, but I'd rather see better collision detection among other things. Good effort though if it's a first game.
It is a first game (at least a first flash game). I have previously worked in PHP so I thought I'd give flash a go. I'm currently working on the collision detection and I'll update this game soon with it.
Good, well made game. My only real gripe is the 'stealth' mobs that show up early in the game.
How are you supposed to kill them when your towers don't seem to be able to hit them?
I like the way you can keep collecting coins and gas cans as you fall. Skipping the 'long journey' to the ground means you miss out on gold, so lets not do that, as I have often picked up more gold going down than I have going up. However, as has been mentioned, gold for reaching certain 'checkpoints', such as the balloon, helicopter etc would be good.
