The game slows to a complete and almost unplayable crawl whenever I try to move around on the overworld, regardless of what quality setting the game is on. Am I supposed to have an option for leveling up, or is pressing A just completely ceremonial? Finally, those birds look an awful lot like an angry bird.

I hate how I can spend all the time and effort in the world to whittle down the power of an enemy, but another enemy will always get it. Even if my embryo is stronger than their spore and I've been at it for much longer than it has.

It's refreshing to see a simple flash game on Kongregate. High art and the earthly scrawls of your maze layouts are one in the same in my eyes. I experienced sheer delight when I say my lollipop prize pop up before my eyes. The moment was magical, simple, and pure. Maybe Maze Madness 4 will introduce some new mechanics? Perhaps switches, moving walls, timed levels? Let MM3 sit in the vat of primordial simplicity for all to enjoy and make MM4 out for a stroll on the shores of complications.
