I've been recently having the same problem as Drexbus. I used to be able to change the names of new characters, but now the input box is acting incredibly weirdly!
I got stuck fighting a non-existent enemy while dead, too. I had tried editing the "IsDead" value in both Notepad and a .sol editor with no luck. So perhaps as a solution to remedy this issue or any potential issues which renders the player stuck and unable to continue, how about a "force reset" option under the "suicide" option? This option would work like the suicide option, however it would just automatically teleport you to town and have you undergo the "reviving" action. However, to avoid abuse, this action would take longer than usual depending on a character's distance from town (or perhaps some static value, like three times as long as normal?).
Sadly, this reminds me of a ton of console games where we never get to see the beta/alpha content, unfortunately. This both applies in cases where the designers of the game manage to screw something up between the beta builds and the actual released game, and where it would just actually be interesting to look at the beta content (such as the beta hubworld in GameCube's Super Mario Sunshine).
Well, falling prey to the top-rated comments, I threw my plane backwards. The plane lasted for about 1 and a half seconds, and then the time-space continuum started to slow down as if to try and recover the universe and undo that horrible folly. In the chaos, I had taken out my emergency "Windows Task Manger Button", and had fatally severed the ties that my browser and the simulation shared (plugin_container.exe). The browser itself had gone into a medically-induced comatose state, but eventually pulled out three months later without any more drastic operations. I am only writing this message as to warn others of my experience. Remember, it's only a simulation, but throwing the plane backwards in that simulation is like dividing 1/0 in real life.
Krafen, your rank does give you a bonus; you get another customer. Whether that's a "bonus" or not, is subjective. Still, it is seen as a benefit you get from ranking up.
@8008, if you'll check the version changelog, you'll actually notice that you had gotten 1.5 million coins refunded if you spent any money on the daily quest feature.
Ah no, I'm sorry Max, I take that back. It seems to be a problem with the new version, not individual players. Psh, I'm too quick to jump for my own good.
EDIT: See the thread at http://www.kongregate.com/forums/60-anti-idle-the-game/topics/125515-important-about-the-vip-shop . The VIP shop is currently being changed and Tukkun is fully aware of the situation. Expect the problem to be fixed shortly.
@bob_boyle I'm sure I'm going to be reaching my limit for game comments for the year soon, but I believe that the new quest system was implemented to help new players and guide them through the numerous features. I, myself, never paid much attention to the old quest system as the quests would pretty much finish themselves, plus it manually doing the quest really helped you out, like the new system does. If you do not like the new system, there was the new Garden edit, which would allow you to get exp and coins in much shorter times, which definitely makes up for the quest system. If you invest 750k, you can get ~3 million per hour (non level-based) for 24 hours for only one tree, not to mention having your two free slots filled.
@k0y0l0e0 If you don't like the Epic Skills, don't buy them. Simple as that, but I would recommend that you buy them once you could afford them. If you do the math, you would see you would have about a 1/3 chance to get a random 3% boost., and a 1/3 chance to get a second progress boost (and then a chance to get that boost again, and another progress boost)! Which would really help while keeping the game running on idle mode. And that's not to mention the other bonuses you can buy. Sure, it costs a lot of money, but it offers you bonuses that eventually make up for it.
The mute button doesn't mute MMR (Unless you uncheck the box for in-game audio before you start, of course). I feel cheated. I feel lied to. This is not a mute button, this is placebo. Why would you do this to us, Tukkun? Why create a fake button and lie to us?
If MP was reduced to balance the arena, why are mana potions the same price? (For example, you could just hold down W + Godly Attack and never run out of MP).
I disagree with you, shinki12345. I have more than enough pixels to spare in the arena shop. And pixels are separated from other in-game currencies - that's the point. When you complete a mission, you are rewarded with exp and coins. Not exp, coins, and pixels. If you don't have enough pixels to buy something in the shop, simply go to a harder area, or spend more time in the arena all together. Rewarding pixels with missions will allow those who are willing to get a huge amount of pixels in a small amount of time by speeding through missions, which was not intended for pixels in the first place.
Also, thanks for having me twice in the credits, Tukkun. It's nice to get a lot of credit.
