Bit too easy for even moderately fast typers. I type fast enough to be annoyed at the small delay between pressing enter and the word submitting. Fun, though.
This isn't a bad game at the heart, but for so many poor design choices. Battles ruled by luck, skills so constrained by tech points so as to be almost useless, and way too little gained by leveling up. I had the most fun when using the double-damage powerup, as it gave a bit more flow to the battles, albeit by making colored enemy 'armor' a useless concept. And then you expect us to finish the game *again* before even letting us have double XP gain? What are you smoking?
Being able to undo just your last command/move would be incredibly helpful. I can't even count the times I've moved by accident, or clicked the wrong hex.
C'mon people, enough entitlement already. Ads alone are not enough to pay for games that have taken more than a month or two to make, and the only developer I know of who can create good games in that short timeframe is Nerdook. The premium content isn't mandatory (and to be honest, doesn't look very enticing) so rein in the outrage and rate the game based on what there is. This knee-jerk reaction against devs trying to support themselves will only drive away talented developers and leave quickly-developed casual crap on Kong.
Sorry. I would really like to respond to every well written comment, but I'm just so exhausted in the area of "premium content". There isn't really anymore that I can say without starting to put some numbers on the scene (which I'm not gonna do). Thank you for your support though :)
You shouldn't lose after such a short time stopped, unless your gas tank is empty. Yeah, someone can get permanently stuck, but having a good quarter tank and just struggling to get over boxes shouldn't be punished.
It's not really clear how to do stunts, or even what the game is rewarding you for. Is it hitting a zombie without losing speed? I suppose it's not a bad thing for the game to just give you money, though.
Adding a critical hit minigame to attacks does not make six consecutive identical battles less boring. Seriously, please remove the filler battles and make the remaining ones more challenging and interesting.
Really good game. I think the bayonet is overpowered against the weak mobs, though. A marine in defense mode with an assault rifle can't be touched by them, ever -- it's an instakill as soon as they move up to attack.
