The green arrows in selecting character parts don't work/are laggy. The controls are very inconvenient, I have to use asdf and use my pinky finger (the shortest one!) to reach over to "1" to use health potion. (these little things are important to a developer) Also, I found a typo, just thought I'd let you know. http://i.imgur.com/C5T36.png As far as it's about content and dialogues, I'm glad it's not one of those games where people can't even spell. (see below)

When I play I usually lift my hand and use my middle finger to select 1, 2 or 3. We're looking at letting the player change the controls to their liking. And about that typo... you have really good attention to detail :o

Though, haha, I think you need to work on characteristics, as the "wise old man" gives me wonderfully fitting advice and then proceeds to call me "dude" in the quest section. Maybe you should consult somebody who's fond of and good at writing to make up the characters you need. Also, the movement could be a little faster. And, um, the rats are overpowered and I can't die... But well, for an alpha, it's got a ton of pros: the background music isn't bad at all, the graphics are purely awesome for a starting out, and you seem to have a well developed idea of where this is going, as well. Keep up the good work!

Oh, yes, and near-grab works. Take advantage of that, don't run into the trees, instead brush very slightly against them, you might get the pill. That takes practice too, though.

My tips: First of all, the technique is to grab safely placed pills and to not go for the ones hidden among obstacles. Your main goal is to get a 5x combo, then you can just chill and try not to break it for as long as you can. To do so, 1) Turn your "eye colour-and-shape-filter" on, and pretend you can see only the trees, rocks and pills. Of course, it takes practice. 2) Don't forget that you have four arrow keys. After learning to steer left and right, get used to going up and down the screen and going in circles around trees. 3) If you miss some pills, don't go to the very top of the screen. Instead, grab the immediate next ones. Hope that helps a little.
