I reset my game, closed it, and came back. Now my guy says that I own all the shop items that I had purchased previously, but not the party members, and I can't purchase them again though I am not receiving the benefits. Puts me in a really nasty bind.
I also think that the ratios for the destroying red/white/gold enemies may be backwards. You have to destroy more gold than white than red enemies to get the achievements, but red is the most plentiful.
I'm a little bummed that the click pistol caps at 125 as its importance to overall strategy starts to decrease. It'd be great if we could promote the click pistol like the team members so that we had a "click rifle" or something with a new graphic. And so on.
I wiped out the entire human race. Then I repopulated the earth with the humans spawned by the 5D tangerines. Sadly, nothing happened. No achievements or anything. It was a Tangerine Genesis and no one noticed. (I'd also like some way to skip the massacre for a deathless run.)
The things you can buy with transcode bits not only aren't worth the price, but they go away when you next transcend. That's pretty lame. Especially since there's no warning or explanation anywhere. Why should I exchange a permanent boost for an inferior, temporary boost?
I've been really enjoying the game so far. There is a pretty substantial bug though: RpS doesn't work if you go to a different window or close the game. Experience accumulates, so I'll come back to a lot of RP, but not resources. Still, you've done good work with this game so far and I'm curious to see what you'll come up with next.
My breaking point was after jumping across the disappearing platforms, dodging spikes the whole time, to reach two long ladders with things shooting from the top. And when I tried to jump from ladder to ladder the guy would either fall to the side, losing me progress, or jump straight up and get killed.
Your controls are far too loose/unresponsive for what you expect from your players. I felt like my biggest enemy wasn't the things trying to kill me, but my own controls. And when I refreshed out of frustration, I went all the way back to the start of the game. You need to tighten up your controls and you need to save progress.
There seems to be a bug where if I buy 10 titans right away, instead of one, then it sets the tick length lower than the current timer because of the achievement speed boosts. This means that the titan time never actually runs.
I am much, much more likely to give money to a developer who makes a game that I like than I am to a developer who tries to extort it from me at every turn. There are better ways to monetize your game than resorting to an energy system that makes it impossible to grind for the components you need in order to do anything.
The game doesn't seem to always recognize when I'm logging in for the first time, and that's resulted in my not getting my unique daily reward. It isn't the end of the world, but it is annoying. Also: If the level of the card being fed into evolution affects the result, that should REALLY have been added to the tutorial so that we don't waste cards.
So if you refresh your game after you get a veteran item, you get a duplicate veteran item. This means I have a veteran amulet in my slot and a veteran amulet in my inventory. Besides it cluttering things up, I'm worried it'll mess with the whole 'replace weakest' mechanic down the road.
