Sorry it took a while for a response. For your problem with my tutorial, make sure you’re putting the code in the Fire clips actions panel. By that, I mean for the class “Fire”, not for the instance. To access it, double click “fire” in the library, and open the actions panel.

If you’re still not sure what I mean…
