Making the player stray from primary targets to pick up drops is just a bad train of thinking. Especially when there is a drop every 3 seconds or less. "How can we focus on the target when we beneficially need those drops?"
Make the drops auto-grabbed. Simple answer. Even the magnet requires straying from target.
Lastly, but most important: fix the lag. I consider the game beaten when it lags too much to handle ME.
