This is essentially a ported NES Rom. Abadox was released in 1990 here in the states, and was an R-Type style clone. Although this looks cery clear and clean, the controls are a tad wonky in placement, and the game runs at a terrible frame rate. On top of all of that, I'm fairly certain there's a legality issue with essentially copying and pasting an original Nintendo game up onto a site, and claiming it as your own. Flagged.
It looks pretty neat, but it's impossible to do well for long since some of the meteors move too fast to be seen before they charge on screen, which also causes the other 3 or 4 slower meteors to slam down to the planet as well.
Pretty standard cannon game, pretty good for what it is. I'd like to point out, that your word for how many times your blasted the cannon is "Shoots" instead of "Shots"...ie The cannon has taken 14 SHOTS, not SHOOTS. Otherwise not too bad of a game.
a neat game, with a well done user interface. Your text comes off the cards within the main game selection menu, and the text on some of the buttons is hard to read. Mostly the big issue, is the repeating bar of piano, failing to attempt to be music. The menus and text could use some polishing, and a real song of some kind, and you'll have yourself a fairly nice game.
Level 11 is bugged, you can't see your rider. And the idea the the "unlock" vehicle is about 3 times the physical size. I'm not sure how my rider managed to get that much bigger, but honestly that seems like the only perk, is what used to be a trench, now I can float right over.
Nice smooth game play. The only issue I ran across, is when you select a card in a row, the card directly behind it becomes harder to click, as you only have the very small right upper side of that card to click, as it gets blocked by the front card. Other than that, good job.
You might want to think about adding a multiplier for when you cause chain reactions. As the game plays right now, there is no pull to cause more than one explosion at a time since you get the same points, and it only makes the game level go by faster.
Small word bank, consisting of what seems to be 4 breakfast cereals. The graphics look to have been done in MS Paint, and quite frankly the inability to use the keyboard to type in the letters takes away what little fun this game gave.
One tower type, one enemy...er....dot color and "type" some with more health I guess?....no upgrades, just spamming of the same tower. No music, no sound, low quality graphics. you've got a lot to work on before this is a real "game".
