The whole "pay to play the full game" thing isn't really all that welcome, although understood. Polished appearance, solid game mechanics, a bug I've found though is that adding a new identity causes the browser to redirect back to the Kong homepage. Overall a solid game and if future play isn't majorly impeded by not buying the in-game currency, it's definitely worth playing.
Felt like you should be able to pick the guards off as well. What would be neat is a guard in a leadership role that isn't visually discernible from the other guards but barks commands every so often. Bonuses could be dished out by killing this "head guard" such as increased dispersion of the current guards or having the other guards pause to listen for a radio command for a split-second. Heck, it'd be pretty awesome if you could pick up a radio and start messing with the guards to disperse them in a way that you wanted! :D
I have one serious quarrel with this sequel, and that's the battles in themselves. At various points throughout the game I found it was impossible to win some battles without surrendering, and then pottering around the lower levels for a bit to upgrade some of my units. This is extremely tedious and ruins the whole concept of playing a game as it makes it seem like work, now I know half the population of Kong is thinking "Well that's why the game has achievements, if it wasn't tedious and mind-numbing then it wouldn't be an achievement to achieve any of the damn ACHIEVEMENTS!". Sorry, but the word game implies enjoyment, I get 0 enjoyment out of tedious, mind-numbing hours spent on repetitive tasks. ~My 2 cents
Is anyone just now having troubles with the load screen? I've never had troubles with it before but now I get stuck at 37% each time, no amount of patience seems to urge it any further. **sadface**
