A suggestion, I remember playing other RPGs before and I noticed in their "encyclopedia"s, whenever a new entry that the player hasn’t read comes up, that entry would be labeled “new” (in other words, like you did with the dreamstones, except for every item)

I don’t know whether you chose not to do this because it would seem annoying seeing a million “new” flashing on the screen when you enter the beastry page, but it would make it easier for everyone when they are trying to find something they just encountered.

May I come with a reccomendation? If you could, it would be awesome if there was a save for your profile. I recently got a new computer, having beat everything in all MARDEK games. That means EVERYTHING was reset, and maybe I’ll play through it again, because I know there will be more chapters. I do realize that the other chapters. Since I check your website every now and then, I also realize it will be long.
TL;DR it sucks having your save file deleted and play through it all again.

I know you said you don’t get on here much, but in the chance you do read this, I would like to thank you for your awesome games. Clarence’s Big Chance is just epic in every sense of the word and I don’t think there was a single flaw in the game, it was perfect. Just now I finished Mardek Chapter 2 and while I’m thrilled about the ending, I can say it’s one of the best 10 hours I’ve spent online, and I look forward to playing the third chapter later and then all the future chapters when they come out. I honestly wish there were more developers like you who made absolutely amazing games like this. With most developers they have a bunch of games where one may be good but the others are nothing special, but I want to congratulate you on being one of few developers where I want to play every one of your games because I know each game you put out will be worth every second I put into it.

I already sent you a pm for a different issue with mardek. I’ve got a couple more. When there’s only one enemy, if you press left, you target “everyone” and the spell costs double, as if there were more enemies. On top of that, it does less damage, as it would if you targeted many foes.
There was something else that I can’t remember, if I do I’ll tell you.

Pseudo, when I first played Mardek, I was like “Wow, great Final Fantasy ripoff going on here.” I should have actually payed attention to the game. It’s genius. The graphics, story, characters, music, and best of all, jokes toward Final Fantasy. Mardek is awesome. It’s just me saying keep up the good work, I’ve experienced hating on a game I never really tried!

There are many answers to common questions there. I will be bumping this periodically so that people will see it. Also, do note that Pseudo rarely comes here and is unlikely to answer questions; if you’re really dying for a reply, you’ll probably have to go to Fig Hunter, since that’s the only place he checks regularly.

P.S. I know that there are a lot of trolls who are saying offensive and provocative things on this page. IGNORE THEM. They are TROLLS. Trolls do not actually have any emotional investment in what they are saying; some may not even believe it. They are simply typing something that they know will get a reaction out of people. By replying and defending Pseudolonewolf, you are only showing them that you’re an excellent target because you care deeply about the things the troll has just said. This does nothing but encourage them more, so please stop. If you don’t reply, their inane stupidity will eventually be pushed back a page, where no one will have to read it again.
