Intresting of you to call a person who studies Informatics and math a noob to programming. I very well know that creating good graphics is difficult, and that comic-style can also look very good. I also know that programming a game like this without bugs is very hard work. But this comic-style might be regarded as a kind of ‘naive art’ if you want and I’m not fan of such things. Because i could draw thatlike myself. I also dislike the idea of riding on a sperm. If it was a bird, ok. As I also posted, the game has no story, which is very essential for a good game, at least for me, the game is giving no orders on how many points you have to get, except in the very first chapter and it is possible to win the game by only flying from left to right at full speed all the time from the start of the third chapter.
I didn’t attack anyone how plays the game. (I finished the game myself) And its ok for me if anyone likes the game. I do not. Thats all I expressed in the comment. And I have seen better games (At least I find them better) from persons who programmed for the first time in their live.
Also I know at least 5 games which I think are worth for Badges and are now waiting for a very long time and are far more ‘epic’.

the ’ terrible cannons ’ as you put it, are a revolution for all defence games, simply get one primary and a few secondarys, just fire the primary mostly and use a secondary for extra power, example, you’re overwhelmed with a lightning cannon, a time gun, a spread machine, and a sky minefield, use the time gun to freeze time, fire the lightning cannon to destroy a few ships, deploy the minefield, and then shoot the rest of them down.
