Some other tricks : avoid clicking on "Next Level" since it seems that this is where the memory leak is. Use the robot freezing headset + stay on the beginning of the level (keep space pressed) to farm skulls without damaging houses. You collect skulls by hovering over them.
Try playing in 100% zoom. Other zooms makes the game bug out. And get a high-level gauntlet, the seringe isn't of any help agains palladins... where is the balance? Small details that makes a game hard to appreciate...
After finishing the game and the 108 stars, I wondered, why war?
Then I replayed some levels with peace in mind, building up defence, entering in status-quo situations, making tricky negotiations with the AI.
UNFIXED BUGS : artificial DPS boost using the low quality mode (multiply by x2, x10, x100 your earnings trough slowly getting mean dps up), clicking in poopmonger/clicking in general skews the jumpers autoplay (earnings drops significantly D: if you play the poopmonger in this setup), Kongpanions shiny/not shiny status is wrong : My Cooper is shown shiny while it's not. My Puff Catty was showing not-shiny while he was, but now it's my Joemelon (not yet shiny, shows as shiny). (?) Where did the bugs report button go? (!) I like the game concept, the realisation is good but the testing needed a day or two more.
Trick for the chests : the distances for diagonals is also 1. Basically that means that there is an "square perimeter" of possibilities. I usually put second dig on a diagonal of the first dig : you then will have only 2 suspect spots remaining (where the 2 squares meet). 50% chances to get it right (compared to other methods).
Nevermind... I... Kinda got trough that room too, using the pause as a cooldown, and... Arrived to the end of the game. Directly.
Seriousely, the programmer... You planned this? You... You beautiful mind. I... Am I the only one?
I kinda jumped without cheating to the platform where the sister is before getting my voice (and the area after, before getting stuck on the one with acid)... No point in doing so, but I thought it was a missed opportunity by the dev to add an easter egg or something. :p
So there is this weird bug where the ball is stuck in an infinite loop when you land a perfect hit, with a lot of speed (>400?), it just go up in the sky, land down, bounce back in the sky (hitting some monsters and taking some speed), then land back, etc., etc. I'm at 600 speed and 1.5 million of distance, and it doesn't seems to be slowing down. Trying to stop it with hits but it only makes it worse. Oh well...
At first glance (before even clicking the game) I was hesitative about playing it because of the theme and Clarence's ugly face (I feared that it would be in the genre of "Don't shit your pants")...
But then I saw that it was made by Pseudolonewolf, so I gave it a try...
Worth it. Looks like trust is something valuable that a developper can earn and keep. Like in love.
