Then, crisscross that fan with additional strands so there will be a grid formed. Then, if it’s not yet enough, you can squeeze an additional strand diagonally in each of the grid’s cells, this can be made afterwards. After you build such a fan, at least to a grid level, you can use its uppermost strand as a base for another fan of the same structure, either starting on the same side of the corner, or on the opposite – either way, order the spider to pull strands further into the underlying fan, it then creates third-level strands that sometimes protect your outer fan from dissipating by making an additional support to a crucial joint. If you will manage 3-4 levels of fanning, the resultant web is incredibly sturdy if hit in the center, but you need to protect every corner of it and constantly add more layers, also do spread on the walls to other corners. Note that you will also need some loose webbing elsewhere to catch stuff, while anything you catch in this one will remain for a good long time, so you can let a good set of flies, bugs, dragonflies and other sort of harmless tasty things in there for the times when the bat will appear and drop your loose corners, then you get to your stash, eat stuff out and rebuild the corners. One such web covering 1/16th of screen (and several corners providing the remaining 1/4 coverage) will suffice for the hard badge, but will not suffice if you would desire extreme scoring… there’s a score of 1 million in DYOG, and I possess a 570000 score made with a complete circle of webbing this dense.
