This may help... or not:
1. Double-jump to land on the platform, so you don't have to try to land on the 1 block of open space at the beginning, whilst falling to your death.
2. Jump under that middle spike facing down. You do a short first jump, get under the spike, double jump on the platform.
3. Finally, once you've conquered all of the atrocities up to about level 33, just start going to the top. There's always a one block of space open at the top, so don't bother trying to navigate the mess at the bottom. (usually a quick double jump will do the trick to dodge the first rocket).
Regarding 30 through about 33..
30 and 31: jump over the first two spinning saws, and use short double jumps to go up the platforms quickly take a veeery brief moment to make sure you're ready for the last jump.
32 and 33: drop down to the platform below first, then just go straight right, short double jumps again up the 3 platforms at the end.
This character limit makes it hard to put up guides. xD

OK....so maybe this is just being picky....but why the does the game keep resetting whether I have the sound and music muted or not? Specifically, I have it muted, then when I bring it up real quick to make sure I use the slow as all else Rallies, it starts blaring the music really loud and I have to jump to mute the whole computer first (because the menus are finicky as all else).
I think the rallying gets a little annoying... each rallying takes like 5 minutes to process cuz you always seem to get a group of gimpy ones that limp towards the item you are rallying, and you can only do like 8-9 at a time... I have 96 little guys and it feels like it takes me an hour to use up the rallying (as it recharges over the hour too...) Any chance we can make them walk faster, set up a queue, or just have a mass 96 grinns bumrushing on a building?
Oops, correction on that, you do run into solutions with less than the "optimal" number of boxes, but keep in mind that you generally want to avoid using rotate on anything that loops. This should help get a better sense of the "optimal" number of boxes.
Also, for everyone complaining about the boxes to steps ratio, I find that finding the optimal number of boxes first is key. You don't run into solutions where you have a "less than optimal" number of boxes, only "less than optimal" steps (less being the goal in these cases). Finally, consider this. All these other people could do it, so can you! :D
I was able to get 266.10 on the first course using this method. Hopefully Turbo Nuke doesn't fix it as a "glitch" but if you exit from a course, and then you continue, you get to start that hole over, with the previous times saved. So theoretically you can keep trying the same hole over and over until you get a good time. NOTE: you do not get to keep coin/powerups you used before you exit, so make sure you stockpile coins before you use this method, I recommend around 5000. On a sidenote, you can't really get the best times without getting the best gear (other than putter), and using the power swing and airboost powerups every time off the tee. I also used the airbrake power to stop the ball right above the hole. I would just try to get the needed time on the second course as your coins just build up over time even if you use powerups (because of the 1k 1st place prize). +1 to keep alive.
