~continued for the last time~ Great, right when I decide to quit "Cursed Treasure: Level Pack!" gets the daily badge I was waiting for to motivate me to play it. No, I will NOT be tempted. If I don't quit now, I likely never will, and the stress will kill me. NO MORE!

~continued~ Sorry for the wall of text, I needed to get that out.

~continued~ But, even though I have never been skilled at many types of Video Games, I have some love for most every genre of Video Game ever conceived. Through Let's Plays, I can experience Video Games I never would, or could, play myself; relive Video Games I have played through before; be introduced to games I'd have never known about otherwise; and see the Video Games I loved (or hated) from many differing points of view, all in great detail. So, while I am sure that leaving Kongregate will mean that I will miss out on many great things to come, it just is not for me anymore. Besides, one person can only do and experience a finite number of things in their lifetime. Goodbye. ~continued~

~continued~While Newgrounds and the like may be nice for their animations and parodies, Kongregate will always have a special place in my heart, if only for being the crucial stepping stone that led me to finding out about the other great entertainments and communities the internet had to offer me. From playing Mardek RPG for the first time, which lead me to follow fighunter.com, who's forums coincidentally led me to my favorite indie game of all time "Iji", which introduced me to the realm of Let's Plays. Let's Plays, which are a celebration of my favorite pastime and lifelong love of Video Games. I have never been good at games of skill and have always preferred to play games of strategy like RPGs where I can take my time and plan things out, ~continued~

~continued~ Then, when I fail to get there in time (and even when I do ), I feel like this website and these games are out to get me! This is not healthy. I know I should not let this get to me like this, but it does, so, the best thing I can do now is ignore this site altogether and quit cold turkey. I loved coming here at one time. This is where I discovered some of my favorite gaming experiences, which themselves led to even greater discoveries beyond this site, but now this is simply a chore that eats away at my sanity. I can't have fun with these games anymore. Even when the games the badges lead me to are of great interest to me, the time limit make it impossible for me to enjoy the experience. ~continued~

I can't take it anymore! This is a good game that runs well on my sub-par PC, but I can not keep this up. being forced to play a game every day nonstop is making go crazy. Most hard badges weren't meant to be taken on in one day (though this one realistically could be). This is aggravating my OCD too much. The only way I am going to be able to maintain a shred of composure is if I quit Kongregate altogether. When it was just weakly challenges, I could stop, take a break, and come back to it later and if I didn't finish the challenge in time, it was likely because I procrastinated, so I could blame myself and get over it. Now, though, I find myself spending entire Saturday evenings playing a single flash game, desperate to achieve some lofty goal that could take 10 hours when I only I only have 9 hours. ~continued~

Underneath the lack of polish, there is actually fun game to be had. 4/5 "Disclaimer: I was not subjected to the much complained about bugs, so I can not account for how playable or unplayable they may make your individual experience."
Play Zombie Infestation: Strain 116 Zombie Infestation: Strain 116 Oct. 03, 2009
As much as I hate giving a low rating, 2/5. Which is too bad, as it seems like a lot of work may have went into this, but suspect that may be part of the problem, as I have noticed a bad trend in web page and game design recently where things are so over-designed that they don't work properly. Sometimes they can good despite these flaws, but in this case, it is not so.
Play Raider: Episode 1 Raider: Episode 1 May. 30, 2009
Yes!!! I finally beat it on Beginner, and with only 53 deaths. Even after you get the boss patterns down, it is still hard to keep the rhythm for the whole fight and losing the rhythm makes you dead. I was surprised by how smoothly the game ran ( I actually tried opening a bunch of tabs to slow the boss fight down after I started getting killed by the low heath patterns, in vain ), and it gives me high hopes for all the games you put out for now on. I give it a 5/5. These games will most likely never go above a 4 Avg due to it's difficulty, but I bet plenty of people will play and enjoy all the levels.
Play Smatch Smatch Apr. 02, 2009
Aww man, I didn't get the 50 Ks until 1 minute after the deadline. That's what I get for putting things off. Although the difficulty is low, the game works well. It is definitely not deserving of it's high joke score, but I will give it a 4/5.
Play The Several Journeys of Reemus: Chapter 2 The Several Journeys of Reemus: Chapter 2 Feb. 17, 2009
When I saw the "Bears and the Bees Challenge" I thought to myself "now I have an excuse to finally get around to playing all of zeebarf's games". So I spent the evening playing through all 4 (including "The Visitor") and I enjoyed them all. 5/5 x4
Play Mushroom Revolution Mushroom Revolution Feb. 17, 2009
I love this game! 5/5 Also, I'm one of the people who don't get a faster speed from the speed button, but the 1x speed is fairly quick and I prefer to go it slow anyway.
Play Shore Siege! Shore Siege! Nov. 28, 2008
This game is very well made and all the different parts come together very nicely. even tho there's not much replayability to be had, I give it a 5/5.
Play 99 Bricks 99 Bricks Nov. 10, 2008
I got a height of 400 by stacking only straight pieces end on end before it toppled. That was a fun experiment that happened have a surprising result. 4/5
Play I wish I were the Moon I wish I were the Moon Oct. 05, 2008
This game should get a badge for getting all the endings just like " You Have To Burn The Rope " got. 5/5
Play Whiteboard Tower Defense Whiteboard Tower Defense Sep. 30, 2008
I found this game to be very fun and it is much more different from Desktop Tower Defense then Xeno Tactic was. 4/5 for being fun to play and having entertaining audio and visual style but some glitches that effect the strategic value your towers due to inconsistency.

Well made game, but too hard for me. I have the card and this is last I'll play of this ( I'm a wimp today! ).
Play Epic war Epic war Aug. 23, 2008
I had a hard time deciding rather to give this a 4 or a 5 but I had so much fun ending The End that I gave it a 5/5. If you save and it doesn't give you the badge just reload page, continue from save, and then save again. You can also hold down Q, W, E, and R then click outside the window to have those happen automatically ( if it wasn't for the auto-fire my hands could have become crippled from this game ).
Play The Last Canopy The Last Canopy Aug. 16, 2008
I can not believe it! I'm actually Good at this game. I thought it would be hard but somehow I was able to get over 15,000 points and get to the final boss on my first try. And now that I've beaten it, I have to say it was fun to play through again. I enjoyed this game ( unlike most or all of the other "Buried Treasure" games from this week ) . This a well made game and the only glitch I ever had was from me running the mouse pointer off the window. 5/5
Play GemCraft GemCraft Aug. 14, 2008
I have finished this game and now I shall give my review of it. 5/5 Well made and fun to play.
