Hey! I take offense to that! My grandmother has arthritis and would surely attack faster than Hero! Now if you wanted a more serious answer: I usually don't do the art for the games I work on. When I do the Ludum Dare the art is the lowest priority when I only have 48 hours for the whole game and it takes me ages to get anything decent looking. Although I probably could have gotten away with cutting out that first frame of the attack animation and / or increasing the animation speed, but I didn't think of that in my last minutes of polishing the game.
Updated: Hi ShiranaiJittai, I found out that there is a bug in my code that does not reset the difficulty when you die. Will fix this in the next update. As a workaround, you could refresh the page and the difficulty will be reset. ================= Rest assured that I have already taken note of this. Since it is indeed random, I can try and place some safeguards as to not make the level too difficult. Again, I appreciate the comments.
