Kong is a vast culture, and filled with a limitless amount of different people. I like to categorize things, and people are no different. I've decided to make this guide. And please, don't take it so seriously, its partly a joke. Note that I did not write all of these, I received suggestions and I write down all of them. Thank you all! -----------KONGREGATE STEREOTYPES----------- You will see these people everywhere. They are common, and their alignments can be good or bad. -The Commoners- -Average Folk-: These people make up the majority of Kong. They usually do not use periods, play their games, or chat. They rarely stay as they are, as most move on to the more interesting stereotypes. Examples : Joboman, Mattyspatty. -Saints-: These people are just so damn nice. They help you, are very friendly, and are practically pushovers. Theres usually at least one in each chatroom. Make friends with them. Examples : Emopanda95(Your great, xD). -Big Shots-: Very annoying. and act like they think they rule the chatroom, some have a chance of getting banned when a mod is on, they tell ppl to be quiet and are very bossy. Example:chapkin(possibly banned) -Roleplayers-: There are different types of them. Ill divide them right now. Serious-: These people are badass, they be chopping, shootin', and throwing their shuriken, they are usually fast typers. I myself am a former roleplayer. Examples : s1lverfox, RPGRocker. -Playful-: These guys are common, they're usually not full time rpers. They are usually like this. Ex Convo) Bob(Playful): -nukes chuck- Chuck(Playful): -stops nuke with one hand and chucks back- Tim(Playful): -goes super saiyan- Tim(Playful): -energy blast bob- -Logs): These guys take up like 80-90% of each chatroom. They just don't talk. -Phatcat-: Examples : Phatcat. -Schoolboy/girl crushes-: Annoying 12-9 year olds who cling to anyone of the opposite sex in a attempt for fairy tale romance. Sometimes they are rpers. Ex Convo : Tim(SchoolboyC.): HAI THER TIFFANY!111! Tiffany(AverageFolk): Examples : None yet. The Lulz This group of people lulz at everything they see. They lurk in the chatrooms and forums and stealths in the shadows and suddenly they lol bomb the place. Ex Convo) Tim(Average): hi guys Chuck(Average): whut up Bob(Lulz): lol lol112(Lulz): lol Bob(Lulz): lol Gaia19(Lulz): lol Lol112(Lulz)L lol Tim(Average): wtf -tim is swamped by lols- -Developers-: These guys are pretty much the only reason why Kongregate is populated! Give these people a hand. From all of your games, the Developers have made all of it. Yes, ALL of it. (Well, except Kongai etc.) Examples : CCM333, Aieuw. -Whinners-: People who come to whine to other people, because someone was mean to them, or a game’s not working, they are very annoying. There are many types of whinners. - Chatroom whinners: They whine to the chatrooms about something, and are mostly ignored, but some people actually listen. - Forum whinners: Like chatroom whinners, but they whine to the forums instead. - Serious whinners: They have been known to whine both to the chatrooms, and forums, they usually whine about how someone in they’re life has died, or been seriously injured. People usually take pity on them and say things like; “It’ll be okay”, or “I’ll pray to god for you”, and sometimes on rarer occasions, someone may tell a story about how someone in their life who was killed or injured, and how they recovered. -Nostalgics-: Some of these guys are annoying, but most are alright. They're usually people that reminisce, and some of them act as if they're more experienced and wiser, which always pisses people off. Ex : Slapstick, Elemental_Masta, indie88, Kyru. To the darker side of Kong! No place is a paradise, and everyplace has its demons. Kong is no exception to this. --------------The Hellions---------- -Casual Troll-: A casual troll casually trolls a given chatroom, and becomes attached to it, often becoming part of the chatroom and becoming beloved – however, they often become too attached and if another troll comes in the casual troll will valiantly fight the troll by causing a flame war. They will move to a chatroom if another casual troll steals their thunder. Casual trolls are often intelligent, and can often make funny points, but can also be jackasses. Unlike the Town Drunk, however, these people are generally friendly, but will actively participate in flame wars until either they are banned, or the other person is. Suicidal in nature, they are a force to be reckoned with. Examples: Eilios. Unbanned: Having gone from Banned from Kong to Reinstated this rare if not mythical group would also fit into Reformed Trolls except they’ve become shining example of growth and maturity who may one day even become Mods They do however pay penence to the Mod that went to bat for them. Example: AzzAzzA (alias: omfgitsAzzAzzA) Badgespammers Well known for their spamming when they receive a badge, they copy the whole Congratulation message and spam the chatrooms with it. Ex Convo):Chuck(BadgeSpammer): DUDE! U JUST WON EASY BADGE AND 5 POINTS! Bob(Average Citizen): Gratz Chuck(BadgeSpammer): DUDE! U JUST WON EASY BADGE AND 5 POINTS! Bob(Average Citizen): Ok we get it Chuck(BadgeSpammer): DUDE! U JUST WON EASY BADGE AND 5 POINTS! Bob(Average Citizen): stfu!! Chuck(BadgeSpammer): DUDE! U JSUT WON EASY BADGE AND 5 POINTS! -Grammar Nazis-: You know that guy that just corrected your spelling, grammar, or punctuation? Enter : The grammar nazis. They are very frequent, and more are made everyday. Basically, they're just people that use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation and harass anyone who doesn't. Often annoying, sometimes amusing. Examples : Kyru, RMcD Troll kings. Obvious trolls are obvious. These are the king of all trolls. They have a strong urge of anti-mod, but do not hate mods and see mods as their kind. They have nothing to fear. Silence or no silence, ban or no ban, permaban or no permaban, they will always exist. Most of them have very high levels of over 35. They have lots of fans, and most of them are trolls too. The fans all go in the same chatroom as the king troll and when the king troll signals, all of the fans cause chaos! The king trolls make lots of fail threads and random arguments. Kongregators, do not be fooled by the stupidity of these trolls, they are far more intelligent than you ever imagined. For what they seem to do is seek attention, it’s far from the truth. They often make up stories to fiddle with you, some recruit experienced players for no reason at all, but seem to enjoy the curiosity of the average guy. Their main objective is to bring down the very foundation of the human mind. And when the admins cannot take it anymore, they use their ultimate weapon, the permaban button, but it has little use, for they will be back, for they will be back… Fortunately, the legendary admins has brought the population of this species down lately, and the deceased number is phenomenal! There are 8 people of this species who still works hard to exist now… But their population will grow… in time… Examples: You-Know-Who and Harry Potter and some others -BruteTrolls-: These are the deadly pandemic disease known as trolls. All caps, flaming, screaming, spamming, these are your people. They attempt to goad or irritate you, so your welcome to accept the bait. Many mute them, but some fight back. I find them hilarious, but many do not share the level of amusement they bring to me. Bottle Imps : These people are annoying, and are often called Wasps as well. They usually go into a chatroom, or are already in it, and troll suddenly, attack, and leave or mute the victim. (or at least they say they do.) Ex): Tim : hi Bottle Imp : get out now! you suck! you suck! Tim : wtf?!!1/ No I dont Bottle Imp : Oh ye! Then you suck at sucking! So you still suck! besides, fuck you! Your muted! -leaves- Tim : *dazed* -Town Drunk-: These are people that take permanent residence in a chatroom and troll. They usually don't troll so badly they would be banned, but are usually infamous and start arguments. But they're funny and usually good people. :) Examples : pr0phecy Energy Creature: These individuals may suffer from a lack of attention in life generally. Like trolls they often come to annoy and disrupt a room. However, their gol is seeking attention. Any attention, no matter how bad. They usually make up a story, then kind of fail miserably because it has too many holes. Many seek to milk sympathy. -Capes-: These are the people that hide their vulnerable stupidity behind a mask of intelligence. These people are not as intelligent as they seem. They will usually practice correct grammar and spelling, and punctuate. They discuss theories so they seem smart. Do not be fooled. -CleverTrolls-: These are the deadly ones. Some put on masks of stupidity to goad people into flaming them. They specialize in corruption,but many do this for their own dark interests. They usually are the sadistic type, they will burrow into a chatroom, and cause mayhem. Other ones goad quietly, causing whisper fights. Whisper fights are when they whisper someone, saying that someone insulted them behind their backs. They have mixed results, but if they are successful, it turns into chaos. A few of them can bring a chatroom down in flames. Mod Rebels- This ancient race has been since the beginning of Kong, those that hate mods. No one knows why, but they always goad them, not breaking the rules. Others openly harass mods. Recently, a new group blandly called The Mod Rebels began, led by a man named Mod-Rebel. Usually they are clever. Examples : Mod-Rebel, Pear1212, Shrub. -Dumbasses-: Recently a giant swarm of them have overtaken Kong. They obviously, are very stupid. They will usually come in, and are easily manipulated. They can be annoying, but I find them amusing. There are those that stick to the rules. They enforce them, or at least try, or maybe they want to look like they do. Enter The Judges. ---------------------The Judges----------------------- -Rulehuggers-: God these people are pissheads. They come in, and harass everyone by trying to restore order. They will threaten to call a mod, trying to be tough. Usually, it just pisses everyone off, and everyone flames the Rulehugger, so the patheticum calls in a mod, who mistakenly bans people. They are bliddy annoying. cas(something else, i can't remember.) -Kissups-: These people come in many shapes and sizes. Their primary objective is kissing up to a mod, in the vain hope that they will be elected mod, or be "great friends' with the mod. They can be very annoying. You can usually pick out the Kissups, because as soon as the mod comes in, they will say, whats up man, hello, or hey, and kiss up to them. They will also laugh at whatever joke they make, however lame. Different stereotypes can be combined with them. Bliddy annoying. Examples : Too many to name. -Mods-: These are the arbiters of Kongregate. They are the driving force that holds back the monstrous legions of trolls. They come down from the heavens, smiting those who break the rules. Trolls flee or are smited by these folk. They are often corrupt, and can piss you off. Some never talk. Some are openly friendly, such as the popular "invalid_user". Friendly Mods : FR4GM3NT, Invalid-User, hiperson134. Just there: KnightOfRa Don't even start : Spes, SevenofSpades. -Admins-: These people are often mysterious. It is very rare for them to talk. You can tell if their admins by their K. Not much is known about them, only that they are a force to be reckoned with. They are often a rare sight, and even if you see one, they rarely talk. These are the ultimate Kissups pride. Examples : Greg. (only one i could think of, xD) -Intels-: People that are actually smart. They are a force to be reckoned with. Examples : Grrath, NuggetAndSkull. -Addicts-: These people are incredible. They ork up to high levels, gobbling up badges left and right. What drives them? They truly fascinate me. Examples : Crazee, Panda_Man(hope your reading this mate!) -Tourists-: These folk skip around chatrooms. They're usually quite cheery and friendly, but a few can be snobs who think their chatroom is better than another. Examples : Shrub. -Chateaus-: These folk take residence in a chatroom and stay there, rarely visiting other chatrooms. They are very common, and chat with the other chateaus and the people in the chatroom. Examples : sgtpeanut, NuggetandSkull, VikaTae. -Visionaries-: They are often considered rare. They are people that love to get into arguments. Quote one that said : "Kongregate Arguments give me a mental orgasm". Examples : Shrub -Other-: This section is always growing! I need more stereotypes! I am ALWAYS open to suggestions, so talk to me. -The Catalog-(Friends and foes) These people are all people I met in that scum-filled Parking Lot.
