Tired of explaining and re-explaining Repliforce stuff. So here you go: --------------------------------------------------- GETH (Gestalt-Efficiency Thought Hex) programs. GETH programs, or 'runtimes', boost processing power and intelligence in large groups. While one program alone has basic animal instincts: self-preservation, the want/need to become better, to improve, etc, ten runtimes would have the intelligence of a canine. One hundred would have that of a human infant, and et cetera et cetera. They are the core programming of the Repliforce, the 'workforce' or 'manpower'. They are unable to be hacked individually, as any virus or program alteration would simply be undone by another GETH runtime. --------------------------------------------------- SIGMA: Simulated Intelligence- Gunnery Machination Alpha; approximately 60-70 feet in height, and run by a small S2 reactor, which produces an AT(Absolute Terror) Field, a form of barrier that protects it from outside fire. The 'tanks' of the Repliforce. A single SIGMA platform can carry as much ammunition and weaponry as a large armor battalion. Usually contains about 500-1000 runtimes, yet due to the technical complexity of the platform, retains the intelligence of the average human. --------------------------------------------------- ZERO: Zero-Emission Role Operative; Seven feet eight inches in height, ZERO platforms are the infantry of the Repliforce. Using normal infantry weaponry, ZERO units were developed alongside LEGION platforms to create some kind of interaction with humanity. Equipped with LASS(Light-Absorbing Stealth System) and multiple-intensity optics, they are applied for guerrilla warfare and stealth operations. Usually operated by ~700 runtimes, achieving an intelligence slightly higher than the average human. --------------------------------------------------- EVA-H: Extra-Variable Armored Humanoid(often simplified to 'EVA'); 30-40 feet in height, depending on armor variation and type, they are in limited-production due to the amount of programs required to run them efficiently. They also possess an S2 reactor, and due to the higher concentration of programs and simpler tech, can use them more efficiently than a SIGMA platform. EVA-14 platforms can form AT weapons, giving them a physical form and using them for CQC. Given their variable weaponry and armor, EVAs are the Ace of Spades. Containing an excess of 2500-3000 runtimes, EVAs are the most capable platforms on the field of battle, able to predict five minutes ahead of the current situation within a frame of three seconds. --------------------------------------------------- LEGION: Long-range Electronic Gestalt, Indirect Operation Node; LEGION platforms are the electronics and cyberwarfare specialists, as well as 'customer service' platforms. They are often interacting with humans, and used for long-term infiltration projects. A ‘sentient’ gestalt intellect, the only variation that is capable of operating without a direct link to a main server hub. Often contain an excess of 5000 programs, due to each runtime being a potential REAPER platform. --------------------------------------------------- REAPER: Re-purposed Electronic Attrition Platform, Extended Range; A basic cyberwarfare program created by LEGION platforms. REAPERs are viruses that infect and take over other electronics by swarming the existing code and 'eating' it, replacing it with themselves. --------------------------------------------------- HARMONUS; Heavy-Artillery Robotic Machination, Operations Nexus- Unbased Sentience; a ‘living’, ‘thinking’ mobile command center in the form of a space-worthy cruiser-class warship. The only platform to operate without a single GETH intelligence, thus being the only true AI in the Repliforce. 5/6/2012- KARA; [No Acronym Available]; The only true 'humanoid' platform, based off of humans of male and female variety. After one 'defective' model of a residential care-taking android achieved sentience, it was brought into the consensus and 'reproduced', being the only programming incompatible with other gestalt-based AI. The individual platforms can take on any race, gender, hair color, eye color, etc, and can perform any task as well as, and in some cases better, than an ordinary human. They are fluent in 300 languages, and maintain a second-gen S2 engine that makes them autonomous at peak capacity for 175 years. They are one of the two platforms that are not operated by GETH runtimes.
