Boring generic shooter with a cliche, overused narrative conceit that plays like every other shooter ever. Same boring upgrades. Think of something new to bring to the table; you're kicking a dead horse
Good interface, good graphics, Great music. Guns are pointless because they use themselves up by the time we need them and also dissapointing because we see them and expect to be able to control them, and for whatever reason they're automated. Controls are mostly pointless; you basically just have to hold W to win. Gets repetitive fast. No explaination for why there are bonuses and no indications on how we're actually supposed to get them; they just happen at random.
I approached this thinking it would contain the massive amount of customization Bubble Tanks is known for; I was massively dissapointed to discover it has no customization at all. As far as a demonstration of the versatility of your engine, this is great; as a standalone game, it is merely a very pretty and very generic shooter. I am dissapoint.
Jesus christ on a dinosaur, they weren't kidding about the levels taking so long to load. Judging by my connection speed and having had to sit here for an additional 20 minutes for this level to load, I suspect it is from having to further download additional content
there seems to be levels that you can't get gold medals on, like the stage that starts off by showing you the repair ability. Doesn't matter what I do, the damage control percentage will not go above 50%
rated it a five, game was awesome... except it doesn't save at all. Spent a couple hours, got almost everything, came back a while later, fired it up again when I saw it got badges. No save file. If I so much as refresh the page, I have to start completely over. I've done what you've suggested in regards to setting up flash, and it does nothing. Yours is the only game that does this.
Naming my character instead gave him the default name, and when I tried naming the shop it only allowed for five characters, and the default shop title is umch longer than that
This is a glorious thing. Only real issues I'm having is superficial - the main stage theme has one single note played played too loud usually around halfway through the level - it's kinda abruptly jarring. Also there's a notable lack of a "battle won" diddy after the boss that would be awesome. Mostly I'm just nitpicking
I like how you're thnking outside the box, and the netcode is quite respectable [I am on botched dialup and there is absolutely zero lag], and the graphics are pretty, but I'd hardly call this a game. There's just not enough to do; the playtime value is measured in seconds before we've experienced all the game has to offer. Upgrades are a good idea, but the three you've chosen are so par for the course they're absolutely boring :/
