I used to go to rayne’s site and download games that i think people will enjoy, I then applied some mods that I downloaded, I get the sound file (obtained using the downloadable copy of madness original) named msound.swf. I then upload them to kongregate, the sound file being included as an additional file. I name them appropriatly, make an image for them (which i got lazy for a couple of times) and upload them pointing out their not mine. It all appeared legal, as the mods couldn’t be claimed under copyright. They are allowed to be re-distributed. The mods are technically totaly different games in some countries… and obviously whichever country that kongregate resides in follows by said statement. What im basically saying is that moraly they belong to many different people… however legally they seem to belong to no-one. Remember, Plagerism is the greatest complement.
