I would absolutely love this game if not for that retardedly hard level 19. What the hell? Why am I suddently showered with dozens of consecutive swamps and thunder storms in the first minute of the game? How am I supposed to pass that? And isn't the AI using mana too? How is it managing to cast such high-cost spells like this? This is really a shame because the rest of the game is 5/5 material.
Nice game. It's kind of weird that the final "heat" upgrade comes so early. I mean, you need 4 upgrades to go through barely two underground stone lines, yet the final one unlocks everything else. Spacing it up a bit better would have made the game slightly more challenging.
Wow. At first, I thought it was a demo of a game you'd have to pay for, but it's actually just a free, awesome game. Everything is good... Gameplay, puzzles, graphics, music, and the cherry on top of the cake is that "story" you write as you play the game... 5/5.
It could have been a great game, but there are way too many technical faults: The grid is too small, making it impossible to try any strategy at all; You're generally forced to play the only worthwhile move that is available. There needs to be a "back to menu" or "reset" button during the fights. The map selection is stupid, what with having a huge screen but only 2 actual locations, that you have to scroll with buttons. Why not make several locations? The tutorial doesn't explain anything, especially the special Skills, which you have to figure out by yourself how they're used and what the number next to them mean. There is also strictly no mention of the "tech points" concept, which is an important point. Same in the Skill upgrades menu, I had no idea what I was upgrading until I finally understood the concept of it. Finally, during the fights, the enemy targetting could be better; Enemies often overlap, so targetting the right enemy might be a pain.
Love the game, but I'd like a Reset button, or a Go back to main menu button, for when I don't want to sit through a whole level knowing I won't get 5 stars because I messed up somewhere...
Sorry, looks like that is because the game was updated several times. When did you play for the previous time? The save should work. Please, tell me if this problem remains.
The only level I enjoyed was the one where you could see all the cards... At least you could stragtegize a little. The rest of the game was just a giant luck test. And the final levels? Infuriating crap when you're trying to get three stars.
Just so I'm no misunderstood, I absolutely loved the game; The universe was really inspired, what with all the creepy yet somehow childish characters and animals. The storyline was kinda weird but it fit the whole "twisted fairy tale" style. The gameplay was quite original for a hidden object type of game, and the use of perspective layers was really innovative and really clever. Difficulty was right on spot, because most of the time hidden object games do no present a challenge at all. Finally the art and especially the animation is jaw dropping... I cannot imagine how much time you've spent on it. Oh, and I nearly forgot you even added voice acting to it... Truly a great game.
So I was like, "hey, I'm finally getting out of this game! Finally managed to finish a level without hints!" And then came the water level. And I wept.
Exactly the same game as your previous one, which was already a copy of the first one. Same terrible graphics, same awful menu screen, same game mechanics, same stupid rules. When you were on your first game you could blame your inexperience but nowadays we all can tell you just don't give a damn.
Okay, same problem as some other players, my game crashed once and now every time I try to load it again it crashes too (Win7, Chrome, latest Flash version). It was tedious enough to go through the game one time, I won't play it ANOTHER time. Here's a tip, if you make a map THAT big, at least put some markers on the map where all the items you haven't gotten yet are, it's a thorough pain to have to explore everything aimlessly every time you get a new key.
Exactly the same as MerelyFlowers, had about 80hp, pretty much destroyed everything except one wave which was only hurt by traps. Final wave, couldn't kill a single enemy, lost all my hp. Ridiculous.
