Mar 13, 2010 6:16am Salut! Aug 25, 2009 4:51pm Thanks very much for the Info, Clement! I do have guitar and piano compositions, and am experimenting with ensemble pieces. I am just finishing up a few new guitar pieces and I’ll give you a link to my Youtube profile when I’m done with them.

Aug 19, 2009 10:56am I am familiar with Baroque Harmony, but I would like to dip into quartal, quintal, and chromatic harmony as well. I have no experience with orchestration, so any books you point me to would be much appreciated. Thanks! ~Mike

Aug 18, 2009 5:57pm Well that was prompt! Thanks for the info! Is there any particular reason that you use Cubase? I have Protools, but have had very limited exposure to Cubase. Also, I looked into the samples that you use, and they’re great, but they are pretty unbelievably expensive. How long have you been Composing? How long have you been Composing? Only since you’ve been studying Musicology? I assume you’re taking a more general approach to music studies and taking theory and composition classes as well as musicology courses. Thanks again! show less

Aug 18, 2009 4:37pm Spotline, you’ve got some amazing tunes here. Your orchestral arrangements are really expressive, and I’m wondering what program you’re using to create them? I take it you don’t have a live orchestra at your disposal, because the pieces do sound very convincingly organic. Aug 11, 2009 11:54pm spotline, The Automaton’s Awakening is very clever, I can see it in my mind as the music progresses to more complicated combinations, so does he/it. Just marvy.

Jun 20, 2009 11:17pm No problem, I’m re-recording it in a higher quality, it should look a ton better and not have all the black space around it. I’ll send you the link once it’s finished. Glad you like it :)

Jun 19, 2009 10:59pm I loved VideoGame Universe so much I set it to clips of Final Fantasy II for the SNES. CHeck it out on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZU8_7mGtxQ :D Proper credit was left, and the song is presented in its entirety unaltered. But, if you wish me to remove it, just say the word.

Jun 14, 2009 2:49pm Great work, you have an exceptional amount of musical talent. Good luck, and I can’t wait to hear your music in game. Even if the game stinks I will probably leave it on just to listen to your stuff. :)
