For the alpha, instead of having "alpha < 1" you could put "alpha <= 0", which ensures that *any* value less than or equal to 0 will execute the if statement, rather than if it's down to, say, 0.8, which isn't truly invisible, although it doesn't really make a difference, I guess. :P

Enough time to think, but not to move, unfortunately, and in a game where there is only one concept (which is the entire thing), I'm afraid it has an impact which does change how much fun the game is.

If it's vertical speed, the speed should increase when you're falling to the ground, too.. Or have a negative vs with ft/sec.

Also just had a bug - twice - where the game freezes when you die. It's happened in both keyboard and mouse mode, and makes me have to refresh.

Badges really should be awarded so that if you were to beat level 12 on Insane, you'd also get the badges for 12 and 8 on medium/easy, and the same for colo*u*r frantic. Otherwise, I like it, it's well done! :) 4/5.
