Developer, I really like your game, so much that I gave it 5*, however all those extra graphical effects slow up my laptop. I would like to see a way to toggle them on or off. Otherwise, it's the best flash game I have seen in a very long time! Well Done!
The FRENZY RUN is disappointing, and largely a pointless exercise being bounced from mine to mine without any player control. Otherwise this could be a really good game with a few other tweaks as mentioned by other commenters. Here's hoping for a new release.
Fails at Tutorial Step 1. I repair the Town Hall, yet the Tutorial keeps on telling me to repair the town hall. I'm probably doing something wrong but 1* for complete lack of an obvious way to progress beyond this.
A well polished game, but as mentioned by others inconsistent physics and control needs to be tweeked. Would have rated as 4* but the very poor level design lets it down. 27 levels are ridiculously easy and 3 frustratingly difficult, requiring pixel perfect jumping and landing and *hoping* that crucial platforms will not spontaneously explode.
Otherwise this has all the right ingredients for a 5* platformer with new levels and a bit of tweeking. Why not add a level builder and allow players to design levels, then keep the best for your game?
Ths is a really good version of this puzzle game with a vast improvement on the usual user interface. I would like to see some 20x20 and 25x25 puzzles and the option for user/community created puzzles. A good job, well done!
Hmm, Cannot mute 'fantastic' music without muting all sound. This is not difficult to code. Why do so many developers feels that players will share their musical tastes? The game itself is a fairly 'run of the mill' platformer. Might be of interest to those obsessed by platform games, but Manic Miner was written 29 years ago and this has done little to improve upon the genre. 2 Stars.
Good game. A little bit repetitive. I found myself skipping the tapes and the notes, because the ones I read were irrelevant to the gameplay. Hope you do a follow up with improvements. Keep up the good work.
