Good Game! I agree with the other comments though, this game is too easy. I've always been told that the best games are "easy to learn, hard to master". This game was definitely easy to learn, but it never got as difficult as I felt it should have. I would recommend bumping the difficulty up a bit more. Maybe you could mix the piece order up a bit so its less patterny? Or maybe you could just add more pieces? The difficulty was my only major problem. Some other suggestions of mine would be for you to implement the API or maybe even a level editor/sharer, people love those things. I also didn't really like the look of the clock at the end of each level. The timing it takes the clock is fine but I feel that the ticker thing should go all the way around instead of just halfway. It's not a big problem but it just kinda bugged me. Other than that I'm not sure what else to suggest, this really is a solid foundation for a great game. I'll give it a 4/5 due to the lack of difficulty change.

I love how you respond to all the comments, and I love this game. Keep up the good work.

Hey, a Wolf! Not sure if wolves and horses are meant to get along, but in your case we'll make an exception. Just don't chase us around or bite on our tails. Oh, and thanks for the kind comment :)

Definitely didn't disappoint. =) Added pretty much everything we recommended in the thread, and more! Keep up the good work.

This is really good, I don't understand how no one has said anything good about it yet. To me its just an improved version of Last.Fm/Pandora. The ability to pick what song you want to listen to, listen to random songs, or just replay the same song over and over without having to click anything makes this a great choice when you want to listen to some music. It ran perfectly for me and it did a great job finding the videos for the song if they're available. The only problem I had was the second time I loaded it up and more then one song was playing at once, that was probably my fault though. Anyways... Well done. :)

great game, but I have to agree that it is very hard to click the lights!

No problem, and thank you for listening to the comments. It's also very understandable how you can't fix the hit detection towards the larger enemies in this game. This can be a hard fix for even some of the best developers depending on the situation. Anyways, I think you did a great job with the update. The giant enemy heading towards the square after hitting the red triangle was great. Good idea! - Keep listening to the people who play your games and add what they say (if you feel they are right) and you can go far. Good game, I hope to see more from you. 5/5

This is pretty good for a first game. I only have one small concern, and that would be the hit detection. When getting near a larger shape the game over screen pops up, even though you haven't touched the shape. This might be hard to fix depending on how you coded the game, but it's not that big of a problem. I enjoyed playing this, simple games can be just as fun as buffed up games if done right. -- Here are some small ideas that you can think about: Good Power-ups, and Bad Power-ups, Good Power-ups can consist of points and maybe a Slow* that slows down all shapes coming at you. And the Bad Power-ups can have a Fast*, (opposite of Slow) a point deduction, or maybe send you to the game over screen. -- My final suggestion is to add The Kong A.P.I. (link: http://www.kongregate.com/developer_center/docs/kongregate-api) This can be used for us to submit our scores and compete against others, and also earn you more money if you wish. These are just suggestions, use them as you will. 4/5

On the second screen where tab should not work, it works. But on the third screen tab does not work at all.

I'm glad he made another Protector game, even though he said Protector III was the final game in the series.

Great to see that this weekly newsletter is coming back. I like that we have the option to pick music that we want to listen to, but I don't think that the song "Intruder" fits this game at all. (even though I like how it sounds.) I really like Homelands by Justin Durban though, and it is pretty much a perfect song for this newsletter in my opinion. As for the newsletter itself I thought it was okay but not to different from the others, but it's nice to see that it's back. I also noticed that you are going to get more players involved in the upcoming issues, which I think is great! I hope everything is going well with you know, And I hope that this newsletter can continue to be bi-weekly. I'll make sure to come back for the next article!

Great game! I found this game to be pretty fun. I enjoyed it a lot and thought that the music fit in well. I think that this game lacks features for a game of this type however, it would be nice to see a Beginner Moderate Advance difficulty selection. And even though I liked the music when I tried muting the game the mute button did not work for me. Anyways, I liked how I couldn't find any way to cheat do to the closing walls and I also think that it was a great addition to make staying in the green walls give you more points the longer that you stayed. The score i got was "30 Pound lifter" (not sure if that's that good), Perhaps you should do the Kongregate API so we can compare our scores with other users? But one question I don't see your name in the credits, why are you not on it? 3/5

People are hating on possibly the best programmed game on this site. Sure it's java and not flash, but it is still a great game! If you try looking at the comments saying how much they hate the game, It seems like they are a little to young to play it or had some bad experiences while playing it a while back (probably scammed or something) . I mean sure it isn’t a game for the more hardcore gamers, but come-on! it deserves at least a four star rating!
Play How to Raise a Dragon How to Raise a Dragon Jul. 06, 2009
Hmmm, I really didn't even know how to rate this one. I had some fun and I played it for a while, but I don't know it just felt so different. The graphics were odd but decent I suppose, And I actually learned some things unlike almost any other game that I play. I also found this game to be pretty long unlike a some of the others (For the people finding this to short try getting all of the hero and dragon types). meh... 3/5

This comment is for all of the people saying that this is a copy of You have to burn the rope. Well first off, You have to burn the rope is a totally different game, different characters, walls, graphic scheme, blah blah blah, the only thing that is the same between the two is how they are both short games with a song at the end. And also did you guys notice how I mentioned YHTBTR in the song and even mentioned how you should play it at the end of the game? I think that itself gives me a reason to post a game somewhat similar to it. Anyways thank all of you for the comments.
Play Higher Or Lower? Higher Or Lower? Jul. 04, 2009
I like it, Out of all of your games I think this one is my favorite. I like it because it is simple and also pretty fun. I really love simple and retro games. I also really enjoyed the music, and was impressed by the volume control. It seems that the same number coming up twice in a row happens to much and when thinking about whether to pick higher, lower, or the same number, picking the same number doesn't seem like a smart move. I think this game would be improved if you made it so higher or lower would both give you the point if it was the same number. But overall I enjoyed it and will play it again every once in a while! 4/5!
