ok so i just realized im dumb. in actual pool when you hit the ball, there's two types of friction. not one. initially, right after the hit, the ball slides over the table so that'd be calculated with linear friction (which is what im using in the game). but as it slows down, it starts to roll, which would have rotational friction (and a tiny little bit of linear friction as well). im going to work that out later. but that's why the ball deceleration looks so funky no matter what value you set it to. just an fyi
@vmills: Only on their main site do the puzzles have the option to remove the arithmetic possibilities. BUT if you use firebug and find your way across the site's code to the flash object, you can manually set the height to 340 and crop them out. Of course you'd have to reset it for the level select screen...
He died trying to save Desmond from drowning. He would have ran in the hatch and drowned while talking to Penny.
But I agree, Charlie's death was pointless as the water wouldn't ever go higher than the top of the hatch door, let alone the entire Looking Glass. Sucks that Charlie was my favorite character on Lost... :(
@thegranter Actually, a lot of us have done our best to contact the developers, and the most we can get out of them is nothing. For instance, the lead developer, Urbansquall, just disappeared one day; never to be heard from again. And it doesn't matter _how_ email is, if no one is there to receive it ;)
