I would like to learn the vocab first :D

OK, good good :D. After this I could move on to common verbs, or pronunciation, you choose! ;)

Greetings & Simple Words:

Kaltxì = Hello
Oel ngati kameie = I see you (spiritual “see” – seeing into, understanding the soul etc.)
Ngaru lu fpom srak? = Be you well? (Are you well?)
Srane = Yes
Kehe = No
Rutxe = Please
Irayo = Thanks
Kìyevame = Good-bye (See you soon. (also spiritual “see”)
Eywa ngahu = Good-bye (Eywa be with you)
Ulte = And (Used for connecting two bits of a sentence, E.g. “The dog got the bone ulte ate it”)
Sì = And (Used for connecting to words, E.g. “Day sì night”)

phonectic = sounds the way it is written. English is not phonetic because once you learn all the sounds of the letters, they are not necesarily the same for every word.

E.g. Once you learn the sound of the letter “G” in English, you can’t understand the word “Enough”. If English was phonetic “Enough” would be spelt like “Enuf”. Phonetic languages are much easier to learn!

So, when I asked if Danish was phonetic, I wanted to know if once I learn a letter’s sound, will the letter sound the same in every word?
