If you buy any of the temp stuff, glue, pineapple bombs, tacks, then save, when you load the save, all the temp stuff is gone, but your still out the gold it cost you to put it down.
I did not like the ending

The reason why wars increase military tech is because that is where the research effort is placed. Sure there is some things one learns on the battle field, but it would still make more sense and be more efficient to go full bore research of military tech in peace time in anticipation of invaders then to have a war before the war. This logic of war time providing more war tech then the same research done in peace is very deeply flawed.
Besides a few easy items found right away just sitting around, I don't see any items anywhere, even with a arrow from hints supposedly pointing right at it or something. Tried looking carefully and tried randomly clicking everything within the direction of the arrow and nothing.
Other games like this have had a set number of days to get to X victory condition, and bonuses for getting there early. This game could use something like that, like it is now, you just play for awhile and you win. Also at top speed there isn't much to do other then occasionally jump and hope to reach a star, as it goes too fast to avoid bad objects or intentionally get power ups etc.
Upgrades are rather linear, you buy all of one level of each upgrade, then the next, with the one exception of the increased combo limit, because that just makes it take longer to reach warp speed in the first place and is a upgrade that actually hurts you.
A fun game, but I don't see how I am suppose to get through the likes of Vela5, where solid lines of bullets leaving no space to escape come up, and how rows of bullets come up so fast, even in slow I can't seem to move fast enough.
But aside from that, the concept of this shooter game is one of the best I have ever seen for this genre, I rate it 5, and I don't hand out 5s (or 1s) as easy as most do.
yogsloth, instructions explain it, you get energy from being near bullets, not from being hit by them (they turn white, which I assume means you can't get more energy from them)
I see it shows a comparison of items now, but in shop, that is only to your character, which isn't much use when shopping for Rogan.
I think less items should be class specific, especially weapons. If say a mage wants to invest in strength points to equip a good sword, even though strength isn't much use for a mage, they should be allowed.
It would be nice if we could see our mana/stamina and health at the equip items screen.
In the battle screen, it would be nice to see what negative effects are on units. You list whether they have +5 con etc, but not whether the enemy is still bleeding or paralyzed and for how long.
A well made, solid, game. I wish there was a way to see weapons attack stats though. The only clue I have besides how good they are in battle, is their price, but that gets hidden after I buy them :(
I like this versions graphics alot, though it could perhaps use a little antialias to fine tune the sharper edges of units, or less blackness around the edges of units perhaps. -
Besides seeing the stats of your own units, I would like to be able to check the stats of foes too.
And one should be able to pause the game and place structures. As it is now, there is no time to see what is coming and plan accordingly, especially since foes come out very shortly after the arrows appear telling you where they are coming from.
Latter on there seems to be no way to win other then slowly grind and get up levels of things.
A I see some nice potential in this game though.
