Big RPG fan, also love my shooters. For me the games that stand out are the free-roam sandbox style games that give you a whole world at your fingertips, and just let you get on with it, rather than a linear mission-by-mission format. With that in mind, the Fallout series has brought me endless joy. Also the Elder Scrolls. Love the GTA series. To go way back, my favourite retro games are Zelda 3 and Super Mario World. Later I discovered the earlier Final Fantasies and Chrono Trigger and was astounded. Old school RPG’s are the bulldog’s balls. I also enjoy a little bit of GodSimming from time to time, loved the old Sim Cities but they get boring fast. RTS games can’t go without mention, most of the C&C games are top-notch. That leads me to a couple more obscure favourites, the first being an RTS, Pharaoh. Great game, clunky but worth pushing past it. Finally, Pirates! I desperately want a sequel, that game rocked my socks. Outside the world of gaming I like to read, I watch mostly comedies; The Office (US), My Name is Earl, Scrubs, and cartoons; Family Guy, American Dad!, South Park, The Simpsons. Don’t really watch many movies, but I do watch them, even if I don’t remember most of them….
