Positive, in this particular instance, would mean contributing something to the site or individuals on the site without insulting or belittling anyone. And you manage to do many ‘positive’ things. A lot.

Before I became active in the SD forums, I heard a lot about you being a huge problem there. I don’t see a huge problem. I see a couple of different things. Sometimes you post well thought-out points that really make people think. Other times it seems like you just post for the hell of it, and in the process insult people. The ‘for the hell of it’/insulting posts are what I would consider ‘negative’.

I’m not as familiar with your history in SD as Jabor, nor am I familiar with Jabor’s modding style or what he considers “too far”. I’d tell you to ask Jabor directly why he silenced you, but I figure you did that already and got something like, “You know why.”

I honestly don’t know what to do in this case. It’s not apparent when people get silenced in the forums like it is in chat (dropped to the bottom, greyed out), so it’s hard to really figure out just what post(s) may have triggered it from a bystander’s perspective.

I do recommend not publicly calling him out on it, though, as that’s not likely to really solve anything. If you honestly feel that he’s being abusive, you’re welcome to report it. Although I personally like Jabor and think he makes a fine moderator, and I’m sure if asked about his decisions, he’d be able to back them up. (Let’s face it, he’s not the most irrational person we know.)

But it’s better to be direct about something like this privately than to address it publicly or not at all. If you can’t get Jabor to explain why you were silenced, try talking to an administrator. Don’t cuss or go “pure rage” on them. Just explain that you want to make your posts more acceptable and whatnot.

Alternatively, if you’re given the advice by others on how to improve your posts, I would hope that you take it to heart and earnestly try to improve your posts.
