I love the game, the playing was great, but the lack of speed early on makes it boring to beat the game. I couldn't stand having to manually control my way through the first couple of areas every time so that I could move on to the next area and get better materials. 4/5 mainly because the repetition of manual control early on takes away from the later parts of the game.
My Suggestion is to have acceleration and max speed be a factor early, rather than the farther you are, the faster you go. Make the distance of the entire game farther even, just make it a little less attention intensive to increase the fun of upgrading and completion. Just a thought, keep up the good work!
Simple addition that I believe would make a lot of people happy, a "Fast Forward" of some sort to make the pouring water stage of the game go MUCH faster. I find myself alt-tabbing after I hit start. The larger pipe structures simply take way to much time to flow. Specially when I know I've completed the level. Other than that, 5/5.
Great game, all the factory balls have been amazing games. I second the notion of either hotkeys or a "Remove all" key/spot. This would make some of the later puzzles a little bit faster to complete. As opposed to trying to remember the order in which I placed the earmuffs, and the hat, etc. I'd like to see a slight variation on control scheme in the next one, other than that, another 5/5 for Factory Balls. (Also, great idea making them tree ornaments ^^)
The biggest complaint I have, is the controls. Inventory may seem to be a pain, but meh. The games fine as is, but why add the "WASD" movement system, without a hotkey system for your skills. You have to click on all the enemies to attack them, twice, then you're off to clicking to activate your skills. This leads people to want to click to move. Simple enough.
Oh, Also. If you use a feather, and die mid-cast. I think you should die, and NOT continue to the outpost. I'm fine with dying, but I kinda got my hopes up to save my two levels gained, and I see the outpost like "YAY!" then the "Game Over" screen pops up. Kinda disappointing.
Amazing game. I have no complaints at all. The only bug I seen was that during one of the levels I went through the roof instead of being smushed by a raising platform. Easily fixed by rewinding. The music alone in this game deserves a 5 Star rating, the gameplay is easily the most original, and fun I've seen in a LONG time, and the Turtle with the Top-hat!? I mean c'mon. If I wasn't so broke I'd tip you guys, simply because I can't rate 15/5. Great job. Keep making games guys ^^.
So, I originally rated this game a 5/5. After playing the Mini-games, and so on, it has enough originality to be interesting enough. It has great gameplay. The one issue, was the "Bounce" button seems to cause me to face-fault into the ground, and slide the majority of the time.
I decided to re-rate the game a 3/5 after getting to the Mountain level. I got bored with the game before I unlocked the Beach, the Beach didn't revitalize my interest. So it was all very short lived. Normally I'd play a game until completion anyway, but I'm tired of missing great Music Vids on Youtube, etc. Not being able to leave the tab while my guy launches for 20 minutes, took 2 points from the score. Other then that, great game ^^.
Tip for those that miss by a few bucks... refresh the page before you hit anything. You can replay the last week without starting over ^^. Fun game, 4/5 Needs something special to get a 5/5 I'm a critic, so sue me = P.
I've been playing this game on occasion for years now. Great game, great music. The "Juggling the big meteors" is really just a waste of time guys. Takes too much attention. Just learn how to use one power ball to bounce off multiples. Use small bursts of normal shots to get rid of small ones. When you have a cluster, find the middle, and shoot a power ball or two in there, ricochet opens everything up. Don't take it too seriously, and you'll do fine ^^.
I dunno if this is so much a bug, so I'll post it here. I was playing alot while chatting, and would go to chat while the Game Over score was being shown. The game has MAJOR lag issues with that score showing. Dunno why, but it was bogging chat down like crazy. Just putting it out there ^^.
Other then that, great game, I very rarely give perfect scores, this one woulda had one, with some storyline included, nothing snazzy, just something to make it a bit more in depth. Maybe a customizing color scheme for the coaster itself, although that probably would have messed with the ambiance. Anyway, 4/5 for sure. 5/5 requires something attracting. Keep it in mind on your next, and definitely keep developing! Overall, Great Job!
Not sure if this has been pointed out or not yet, but when the "Elf Assassin" unit is on cooldown, it states that it costs 105 Mana, whereas when not on cooldown, it's 85 Mana. Just thought I'd note it ^^
Quick not that I just noticed. The control scheme A, isn't programmed correctly for the "Save & Quit" Option in the inventory screen. WASD doesn't function at the Yes/No portion of the menu. The arrow keys however do. Great game by the way. 5/5 for sure ^^. Runs smoothly, with all the basics of a Zelda-like adventure RPG ^^. I'm really having a ball. If you make a second like this, I think it would be a blast if you incorporated a Jump feature, and platform based environment, like Alundra, if you've played it ^^. Great job!
I know the controls comment has been made a million times, and that's really what holds this game back. But if it could be a bit more fluid, like the Free running in Mirrors Edge or Prototype. (Obviously console games offer more fluid movement, but you get the idea.) This game could really show alot of promise.
Iampureevil1, you need to right click, and hit settings, from there, set your storage capacity with flash to unlimited. This is the amount of space that Flash is ALLOWED to use on your computer. This is NOT Tukkun's fault, please increase the storage amount in order to fix your issue.
I was in the same boat with Kamileon. I played this when it was first implemented to Kongregate, Loved the concept, but the game lagged FAR too bad on my computer. I've since finally bought a new computer, but near the end whilst using the chain gun, I still noticed some lag... I'm running a rather well built custom gaming computer that doesn't lag on Oblivion... not that the lag in game was really bad, it still needs to be attended to. You NEED to implement an option for gamers to remove the bullet shells from the game, as this seems to be the major issue. FAR too many objects on screen since they remain for what seems like the entire match. I'm rating it a 3/5, Easily a 5/5 if you would merely fix this issue for the less fortunate gamers.
Great concept for a "Bigger eat's smaller" game. It's not really hard, but the reason everyone seems to think so is that you move so fast, which is nice. But you can't see very far, causing the one second you take to explore, causing death. This doesn't really increase the difficulty so much as accidental death. Accidental death ruins the fun of a game. If you want a better rating than 3/5, you need to expand the view the player has on the map. Other than that, great game.
5/5 Great game I played with keyboard controls, the movement was fine, after I got used to momentum not being a factor, went through most the levels in one go, but they were challenging enough to keep me entertained. I rarely hand out a 5, when it comes to gameplay, this game is a 4/5. The 5 came from the excellent music choice. It kept me going the entire game, and I'm tempted to bookmark the game for this reference to the song = P
Needs a replay button, or main menu button after you beat it.
