I am so goddam tired of people saying things like "beat nightmare, game ends." It doesn't. That is not at all how it ends. Sure, beating the nightmare makes it hilariously easier to beat the game, but you don't have to.

Same rehashed game, very unpolished balance wise. 2/5 If you're going to do one of these games, do it right.
Play The Gun Game The Gun Game Oct. 26, 2009
I don't mean to nitpick, but I really wouldn't define this as realistic. It is a fun game, and fairly addictive, but to be honest a gun that shoots slower than a 6 year old with a slingshot shouldn't be called real physics. 5/5 regardless.
Play Pixelvader Pixelvader Oct. 23, 2009
It is easier on my eyes than Frantic, but I don't really like the later stages where you really have no strategy besides having a blanket of cannons against fodder, and spamming shields.

This just goes to show that "Dick Move" games aren't in style any more. I personally love platformers that have lives, pixel perfect jumping, and annoying bosses. But now, gaming is all about not penalizing people for losing. Sad day. I would gladly spend hours at a quarter operated arcade game for this game once finished.

This is a VERY good first game. It is smooth, easy to play, visually appealing (to me), BUT it lacks variety.

Amazing game.

Yay, more AS trash getting freebie promotion badges. Like they honestly need more publicity / ad revenue compared to freelance developers who have to work for a high rating to even get considered for a badge. Kongrats.
Play Civiballs Civiballs Apr. 07, 2009
The game clears data when you win so that you can start a new game for a high score. Otherwise, you could play each level separately for hours on end, one at a time, in no particular order, and reach the highest possible score. It clears so that you have to make a highscore in one play. In my opinion, resetting the level should not set your score back to 600 or whatever you beat it with last time. It should start at 600 on a fresh game, and tick down from there, never resetting. But hey...

This is pretty clever.

This is amazing, I know nothing about Orpheus, but it doesn't even need a tie in to be a powerful ending. What I thought: He sees himself in the end, and he never "left" only died.
Play Bunny Invasion 2 Bunny Invasion 2 Mar. 03, 2009
This is one of those games that without badges, plenty of people would pass over and never play it. It just looks so cheesy and lame by the icon and name, but it's amazing once you play it. I could have done without the bunnies, but the elements of a good defense game are all there, and nicely done too. The weapon upgrading could use a little rebalancing though... there's no point in buying a new weapon until you can almost max upgrade it.

Absolutely amazing.
Play Vector Runner Vector Runner Feb. 24, 2009
Got the imp, finally! One of the harder that I've done. I got way lucky with invincibility. Does anyone else feel like the game resets after 30k? Like... you go back to the beginning, just at max speed? After 30k, getting to 42k was a breeze.
Play Electric Box Electric Box Feb. 23, 2009
14 is not impossible. -_- Just think of how many spaces you have to move the steam over, the possible locations of the fans, and the fact that you have a robot and extra fan to move one into place. I *just* did it myself with no problem. I don't see why people think it's that hard... the whole game has been set up like that. Here's a big hint: Things go on the END of wires, not the middle.
Play Cell Warfare Cell Warfare Feb. 20, 2009
The only challenging part about the badges is trying to get the API to send them somehow. Oh wait, the impossible is a little difficult because you never know when the game is going to unfreeze and send you flying. And when you die... your health bar can be negative and stretch to the left outside the box... really? Are you serious? Lol at 10 unique enemies. Aren't the first 2-3 exactly the same with a different color?

To anyone saying that this isn't copying Amorphous+: The badges call the legions "Nests".
Play Cell Warfare Cell Warfare Feb. 16, 2009
Tape down left mouse... Point at anything discolored. This is WAY too easy with no variety. At least five of the enemy types are the exact same with different speeds/sizes/health. The remaining few are... unimaginative to say the least. There is a lack of powerups. Seriously? Double, Triple, faster, bomb, shield, hp? That's all you could come up with? There are no noticeable upgrades to the "ship". The professional finish with the effects and background are counterproductive, because it highlights that everything is a CIRCLE. And those badges...? Way to go... Amorphous+, yet you can see the badges beforehand and there is no wit and only a handful of fun awards *coughrandomsection* Makes me wonder how this is so popular. Maybe because people are too bad to clear an amorphous+ nest that actual takes semi-competent thought.
