This game is a masterpiece! 3.8 as rating is an insult, but of course this is not a game for masses.
Kong should change the way in which badge are assigned: maybe use them to promote games different from each other, instead to badge all these crappy, boring and repetitive multiplayers. They're all the same! What's the purpose in badging all of them? I want badges in game like this! :-(
Why does Anabel orgasmic noises when the monster grabs her? What is he doing with that red stuff that he pushes into her? I'm not sure he's eating her. Oh well... maybe he's eating... her...
A problem: the damage animation is much slower than the rest of the game, so after a while, during a long combat, it stays too far behind and lags. It's really annoying, so please try to fix it if you can.
I think the negative rating system is more about spam and bad messages, not just for difference of opinion. If you totally agree with a comment you rate it good; if you disagree you don't rate it; if it's spam or stupid/useless comment you rate it bad. I say this because if a comment gets negative rate it's completely covered as it would be spam. It's not nice for what is just a different opinion, don't you think? It's rude at least as much as your "don't listen to him".
Anyway I don't see why putting some interactivity in the dialogues should ruin this kind of storytelling. I didn't say a dialogic game is definitely bad: I just say that if a game is built on dialogues and you don't put interactivity in these, then you can only read passively for hours and... where's the game?
Lynzip, why don't you try to explain why you disagree with me instead? I think I clearly explained in a constructive way what I don't like of this game and why. I think it's such a bad custom on Kongregate the mass bad-rating of critical comments, for uselessly top-rating instead the tons which just say "what a wonderful game!". If a game is played a lot and it's well rated you know it's a good one: you don't need comments to testify it. A constructive critical comment, instead, can help to make a better one, because nothing is perfect in this world.
Not so bad as a game after all. There's a nice storyboard, but all these dialogues... It's so boring! The action part is just the 10%! That's not normal nor good for a game. Do you know the worst thing? There's no interaction at all with the dialogic parts! You can't choose what to say, you can't interact with the story! But this is what makes interesting a RPG with a lot of dialogic parts; otherwise is just like passively reading a book... or worse, because it's supposed I'm here to play and if I can't it gets boring. So this is not a book nor a a game, what the hell is that then? You should work on it if you'r planning a sequel.
And yes, of course I know that I could just deactivate it, but it's not the same thing. I know that there's a cheating mode completely legalized and I don't like it. Also, on one side I'd feel pretty stupid not using it if I should get stuck on a difficult level, on the other side I'd see using it like cheating... This thing just ruin the game experience imo.
Oh! Come on! You just need to buy the infinite ammo upgrade (and 99k isnt even so much) and then you're virtually unbeatable... This is so lame! Why on earth you should ruin a great game in this way? I've just begun but I already know that I've won the game. Now I'm too bored to play the next hundreds levels and finish the game just holding all the time my lmb with a tesla gun equipped... :(
To who complains about zombies using weapons: they shouldn't you say? Too smart you say? That's not true! Try to watch Romero's movies! George Romero is the father of modern zombies and he made the first zombie apocalypse movie in the history of cinema (Night of the Living Dead)! In his movies zombies aren't completely stupid and they slowly recall memories of their previous life. Soon they relearn how to use guns and other objects (the first one in "Day of the Dead" and all of them in "Land of the Dead"). ;-)
What the hell do you need to unlock the gold slot? This would have been a nice game, but I never seen so many bugs... You can't publish a game like this. Have you ever tested it before?
I don't get this. If, at the beginning of the game, i conquer a city with just Meatheads i don't get any revenue. If I put just a simple zombie in my army then i get it. Bug or what?
It's so unfair that you need to perfect (well, almost) in pro mode one of the most difficult song to get the last secret one. I'll never play that song. :(
Great game, but songs are too long! I prefer a skill game than an endurance one. It's so frustrating and annoying when you have to play again a whole song of 3 min just for a missed note. For next chapter i'd like a song length more close to the SCGMD2 one.
