i love the concept and in the beginning its really fun to play, but i would love if the scaling was reworked, because all you gain permanently is flat health which is not all that great. Leveling up you skills also doesnt help much since they exclusively only help sometimes (based on monster type or a chance) except for spell salvager which makes you sell spells on the spot gaining less health compared to keeping them. So there is nothing that helps getting further and one will progress slower and slower until inevitable frustration will make him quit playing. Still 4/5 good work (-1 cant find mute button :D).
Theres a bug .... when there is a lets say a 3 on the side and you make a line of 3 blocks in the wrong place (connected to the border with blocks and x's) it wont make the 3 grey, which basicly shows you where your wrong. Accidentally cheating is a bit annoying .... still like the game though ;)
The concept is though not really new a quite good one... but with no tools to organize your monsters there is no point in playing this. Giving the player the possibility to make groups of monsters/name the groups/give him the option of moving monsters from group to group. This would make it possible to seperate the monsters for sale from the breeding ones. And to seperate the breading ones per specialization. As it stands 2/5 =(
Nice game ... changing up the rules keeps it from getting boring fairly quick to play through. The combo system is fairly random though because the only way you get a combo is to be behind or even so most likely the AI will get one here and there witch is somewhat annoying ^^... but why not its not unfair or anything <3 5/5
The game itself is fine, but i have to critizise that the difficulty is based on hidden information. It should be mandetory to tell the player that when you empty a sqare totally it becomes "secured"... on my first try i didnt need the remaining food so i didnt scavange the rest but you should and you have no way to know. Also one should be told that you get attacked stronger when you scout more of the map and get better items when you search with more people. So basicly if one scouts only if everything unscouted is secured or has some people working on it and you only scavange with 5 people the game is REALLY easy. If you try to go for more power or the medical room quickly witch is encouraged by showing shiny icons on the map your f***ed. Still 5/5 great game but difficulty by tricking the player thats messed up.
Good game i liked it quite a bit, here are some tipps (only read on if you dont want to think yourself of a strategy to beat this game or have done it already):
Use all the space you got before upgrading leave only one space for each building inside the city and fill the rest with houses.
Crank up your income as fast a possible in the first few minutes and while building baracks and teching on lumberproduktion and upgrading your barracks. Then tech for units and produce units and never let the production stop the rest of the ressources goes into your mines. Just sit on your ass upgrade and produce never leave your castle until the enemy failed some attacks then counterattack and youve won. Sadly if you have acceptable mousecontrol this game becomes way to easy ^^.
Nice TD-game, but i dont see usage of it beeing 3D other than making things look more complex then they are =(... i hope you include some more intresting features then building upgrading and spellcasting, because just about any TD-game has that, including something unique to play with would make this game even more fun ... until then ill stick to the more well rounded 2D-TD-games.
Great game, i think the levelig is all fine, i never had to repeat a level more then 2 times, only sugestion is to add 4 keybindings for the spells so you can go "s" "key 1" click to cast a heal for instance. I see the problem that there is not that much room on the keyboard but to solve this you could easyly remove alle the building keys since one only needs spells in crunsh time. Alternatively maybe binding all 16 spells to the numpad or some shift/strg combination is a solution as well.
First Aid can be trained to 1500 ... bug or feature ;) ?
Anything else works fine for me. Sadly its almost exactly the same thing as the last game ... i enjoyed it anyways but dont let all those people who cry that you messed something up stop you from changing anything in a sequal ... well thx for making this game <3
