This is the type of game I usually donate to, I'm just sorry I can't! One of the best gems I've found in a looooong time here! At first I said 'not my type of game', but couldn't have been more wrong! music is beyond epic, very nice work! I feel as though there should be a series around these two too, I'd play 'em to death like this one (think I'm on my 20th playthru, half for the music though.
darthmoderator? 1st, you're not a moderator - if you were, you wouldn't approach someone like so... not to mention, this isn't a stolen game, I looked at his code and it's not a copy of game... he remade it, aka a tribute to Five Nights at Freddy's 2
Great potential, just gotta fix the lag and I'd play it through, but with how it stands atm, no chance after collecting the 3rd car... just too difficult, I feel like I'm watching a poorly recorded 3 year old playing the game for me...awesome start however
His name is RICK DANGEROUS! Nice, but not nearly as cool as the original games of Rick Dangerous! The loading screen/title screen image is from Rick Dangerous II (though I do believe you drew it yourself, the imagery is the same)
Still cool game, but just makes me miss Rick more!
Sure the game could be better, but it could be worse too! The first of it's kind that I've come across and enjoyed! I say Kudo's to the dev and keep up the good work! I don't see any of the folks here who are whining about the 'issues' with the game taking the time to write up a manual or explain what they say took them forever to figure out, yet they expect someone else to do it when that person has already spent countless hours writing this very AWESOME game! Sheesh, hypocritical much?
I don't get some of these comments from people... I made it to about level 30 before I died once! As far as the first boss destroying the wall, uhm the first boss didn't touch my wall at all!
I'll bet you upgraded speed first lol... you need to learn about the proper upgrade scheme for action/fighter games... STRENGTH, TRAPS, GUNNERS, HEALTH, WALL, SPEED - basically... of course there's 20 different ways to do it well, but that's mine and I had no trouble with this game at all!
ARIFROCKS indeed... 5/5 - at first I didn't think I would finish the game, but it's strangely good at drawing one into it! Totally reminds me of the good old ---- Quest games, kings - space - police...
They drive you crazy when you can't find the one tiny little thing needed to go on, but you just can't quit them! I think I spent about 7 hours on the game myself before hitting the walkthru, just to find I was only a few steps away from the end lol...
I must agree with uberpenguin... I know that any game I've ever written, the first step I take before publishing is playing the game myself. This game, AWESOME concept indeed... however when you spend 80+% of your time travelling (akin to everquest almost!) and can hardly find materials or treasure to start out, it's a major time killer. Then the lack of documentation doesn't help either! I still don't know why I can't build the teleporter (I've tried at 50m, still can't build it despite having the resources required)... who cares about the guy staring at me, or the logo... who cares if someone used the logo from the Bulls? Like they don't have enough money, or is it because this game is profiting SOOO much from the logo use? pfft... rated 5/5 and faved in the first 5 mins... after 30 minutes of hair pulling frustration, rated 2/5 and unfav'ed... sorry
I'm a tad confused as to why I'm losing speed in space... there's no air drag, gravity, and I'm not hitting asteroids... physics, just plain physics... still fun game, but yeah upgrades are a little pricey
Sorry to say it, but seems to be just another physics game to me... I did like the buttons/machines aspect of it, but I've just played far too many games like this to spend much time on this one too... I think this robot would have been better off either attempting to rocket to the moon or fly through the air (with upgrades of course) and finish off with that explosion you've already got going!
