@Urdronar - damn right I kept replaying story until I had around 75% upgrade complete, then afk farming survival to full upgrade. Also the missions are afk farmable past #60 or so as they become "hit X while riding Y" pure luck scheme.
Fun and addicting game, however the cost of high level upgrades is way too high. Having to launch myself 10 times to upgrade just one thing isn't fun when there are 1000 things to upgrade. I finished story mode without even half of upgrades...
this game would be perfect if it had: 1) shop of some kind 2) save feature 3) more balance at high lvl. The tricky part is actually surviving to level ~25 and getting 100 ice res + decent armor rating. After this if you keep picking higher DMG weapons and invest everything into str you simply cannot die and kill everything (bosses incl) with one hit. If you do reach character level 50 or so it's all about your own endurance and how much time you can send down the drain. It doesn't even matter what class or what skills you have.
You really did a great job in hacker proofing this game :D In game scores AND kongregate boards are somewhat believable and hacker free. Almost any other game is infested with 20-digit numbers in All Time board, while highest achievable score is 7 or 8 digits at most. We propably WILL get scores higher than 1500 in Kongregate boards as those are poorly moderated (those quadrillion scores are hanging there for years...) but in game system will stay cheat free.
so it's third installment of a game which was first ever to receive a badge? I think it was first... the 30 pointer badge shown as 1st oldest badge when I checked "oldest first" badges a while ago. It was when I was level 5 or something so I didn't had plenty of these badges.
@Frostbolter - 640 is really slow. I can clear those blue tunnel at 1200 with 7+ consecutive obstacles just fine. The worst are tight corners on hard as it pure luck whether there is an impossible-to-spot-and-dodge obstacle right after it or not.
Easy feedback: while it's not particularly hard to beat standard obstacles at >1400 speed it gets very much impossible if you happen to get long blue area with poorly positioned 3/4 screen red blocks. One or two blocks are dodgeable, 3 or more - certain crash. Leaders propably got REALLY lucky with path drawing. As I say - flying through black tunnel obstacles isn't hard, it just requires some reflex and careful mouse movements.
Some kind of safety thereshold distance would be nice on hard because right now the curves tend to fling you right into obstacle. And at higher speed you have no chance to react at all, making achieving high score pure luck :(
