Jesus christ. What's the point in a shield if the dragon just aims for the sword anyway? Stupid and ignores the target-nearest mechanic you've just been teaching us this whole time. Soon as sword comes in range dragon wrecks him regardless of where shield is.
Congratulations on finally thinking of something that isn't a restaurant. It's not far out your comfort zone but it's a step in the right direction and at least a little more creative than the Blankeria series.
I'm not annoyed that you keep making restaurant management games. I'm annoyed that you made one game over and over. Nothing is different from game to game except whether the food is pizzas, burgers, ice cream or pancakes. It seems like no effort has been made to address the problems, all the creative thought is diverted into "what other food is there?". The customers still take an appallingly long time to order and approve their food, and the upgrade pricing scheme is still terrible with the only useful items being stupidly expensive. Countless cookie-cutter sequels later these important gameplay issues have still not been addressed.
To keep population growth fast you need to keep mining. If you fire off just a few bombs next to the drop zone you can quickly mine a little stuff and keep your growth at around 30/day. If you stop mining and try to speed through the days it drops right down to 5/day or even less.
Even so, growth is FAR too slow - it took me 162 game days to reach 2,500. When you compare it to the other medium badge it's laughable that they're the same value. Growth Spurt should be a hard badge just for the boredom factor required to grind it out to 2,500 population.
Sir, this Kongregate member seems to think he's being hilarious and original by writing a comment full of pretend dialogue which sarcastically points out the plot holes and logical flaws in this game! What should we do? Tell him he's being neither original nor clever, and that this tired joke format is less funny every time someone sees it?
If you're struggling to beat a level (EG one of the later bosses), there's a simple trick you can use. On one of the early waves, kill everyone except one enemy archer. Leave all your own units undeployed except your wall repair guy. Then just do something else until the time runs out! You won't need to face the bosses.
