It's a brute-forcing seemingly random combination game. Isn't that great in any regard. Brute force everything, really you do nothing. The quotes are awesome, about it.
The game plays a lot like Risk and other board games where you build armies and then fight. The interesting thing is that the battles go the way of RTS: you actually command the units, which have their own AI. Lends itself to be a very nice game.
Fun game, but ranged units are broken. A 2+ rifleman with an upgraded gun can take down just about anything. Add in monks, and you really can't die. If they get close, they really need a ton of monks as backup.
If I'm not mistaken, Speed Booster alone is pointless. Since it's 1.5x speed, it's essentially the same amount of EXP in 2/3 the time. For EXP boost, you get 4x the exp for the normal time. Either way, EXP Boost > Speed Boost. The only reason to pick the Speed Boost is to combine it with the EXP boost for 6x.
Game Won, All Gold. Not hard, but not easy. It's a lot of brute force at parts, and trying things in some of the later levels. If it were longer, or allowed for user levels, could easily be awesome. 4/5
Amazing game. The Popping sort of killed it a bit, but it was awesome past that.
And like everyone else, the box rolling level was a pain. Please try to not use gimmicks like that.
So simple at one point.... You can really just continually go and battle with 5x Claymore and 5x Mythril, and continually keep as much money as you want basically.
Good and bad.
The good is the fact that it is a nice concept overall. While it sounds like it is trying to be an RTS, it ends up being more of a defense vs. defense, but ends up playing nicely. Also the graphics do work well.
The bad is that for most of the game you need to only use barriers, and then finally rush with the best units at the end. You are also waiting a lot of the time for your opponent to attack to get more points.
It was... decent. The controls are simple, yet painfully useless. If you shoot, the arrows don't follow a straight line. While I can understand this, there seems to be no method to the movement either. Playable, but not worth it. 3/5
Not all that hard. If you early on make a couple of swordmen, and then make it so you have 5 miners, you can easily from there build up your force to accommodate your entire army.
Also, once you get the wizard, abuse him. At his best, you get 4/5 units (1 wizard, 3/4 minions) for the price of one.
Yeah, the card-obtain system is a pain. What would be nice is to be able to pay 50 coins or something to get a 3-5 card pack, and then you can work from there.
To people who say "The physics suck there are things that don't happen the same way twice" - you have to remember that there are probably some random variables in this game. Because of that, there are going to be changed. The randomness adds to the pureness of the physics, for in real life, some things may only work 1 time correctly, thanks to general chaos.
