The X player, before making a move, is allowed to either add a square, or remove a square from the 3×3 square. Then, O adds or remove a square. NExt, X makes a move on the new board, and then O goes. Then, X goes again, but, before O moves, X can either add or remove a square (or 2 squares, depending on the rules). After X does this, O moves. After O’s turn, O adds or removes 1 (or 2) square(s). Then, X goes, then O, then X goes and add/removes squares, and then O goes and add/removes squares, and that pattern continues (every other turn, you add or remove squares) until either the active squares on the board are all filled, or someone gets 3 in a row. If you don’t get it or see a flaw with it, let me know and I’ll say how to get around it. I can send you the .fla now, but it won’t have sound. Also, I tried a bit of coding, which you can remove if you want (the part that lets you add or remove squares).
