The AI needs to be fixed to use other elavators, they all flood the closet one and begin to complain. There also needs to be upgrades for each individual building.

Luck gets you wins,and the more you attack others,the higher chance you have of losing,since your armies are stuck on one section and there unmovable thru friendly territory's.

From my experince in playing this game, aliens had more powerfull weaponary,but their ships were the size a whale,human ships are smaller but have less powerfull weaponary but human weapons have a better turning speed.
