A small story written for creative fun:::::::

I cant remember hitting the ground, But the following surge of pain tells me it must have been some drop.. Sitting up, the world around me is dark.. It looks like a Tim Burton movie.. The dead trees and other foliage are all black. I think it is around autumn, due to the leaves that litter the ground.. How did I ever end up here? This is sure not Minnesota.. It took some time to stand up because my legs were still in shock from the drop. Looking up, I could see nothing but the grey sky. Where did I fall from? There were no trees in this patch of the already barren forest. I took a step and felt a strong shock of pain that brought me to my knees. Looking down at my left leg, a stain of bright scarlet red bled through my jeans.. I almost diddnt want to look at the wound, fearing that it would be broken. I still peeked at the wound, and let out a great sigh of relief to find that it was only a cut. Although the gash was still quite large, Anything would be better that having it be broken.. “Hey.. You ok?” I spun around to see a boy.. he looked older than me, but still young. I would say 16 tops. What suprised me was his clothes. A long black overcoat over a white button up and black pants. His face and skin was rather white, which made his bright emerald green eyes really stick out. His hair was a light blonde. To top it all off, we wore a top-hat that matched his bright eyes. I guess I was staring, because he looked at me weird before repeating: “Are. You. Ok?” I replied with a scratchy voice: “Yeah.. Uh.. Im fine.” He look at me like I was the strange one.. “Your not from here.. Are you?” I Shook my head. " Oh.. Well.. Whats your name?" “S-Savannah” He smiled, showing somewhat pointy teeth. “Darrin. Nice to meet you.” His hand swung out. “Can you stand?” He was studying me, and looked closely at my bleeding leg. “Oh.. Well.. Kinda..” I replied. “Hm… We should not take any chances..” At that moment, he swiftly picked me up. This kid looks alot stronger than he really is. “Ok.. Lets see if I cant find you a place to stay for tonight…” I was amazed at how he knew where to go. The twisting turning path looked like a maze.. At last we reached a small cabin. Its basic, one bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room. It was a cracker-box cabin, that looked like it could use a little TLC. Darrin awkwardly managed to open the door and set me down on the small couch. “Ok, where does it hurt the most?” As if he could not tell.. “Uh.. My left leg.” “Hm…” He looked a bit closer at it. “Oh, thank god it isnt broken!” “Wow.. Its still a big cut.. I dont know what I should… I could sew it up.. I think I have an old needle and some thread somewhere!” My eyes must have popped out of my head, cause he looked at me with an uneasy expression. “I dont know what more I can do.. There is no hospital around here for hundreds of miles..” “H-Hundreds?!” He nodded. “There arent a lot of accidents around here, but when there is, Im kinda the doctor” A small smile formed on his face. “So.. Do you mind if I…?” My voice was getting more scratchy with every word I spoke. “Isnt there anything else that you can do!?” He shook his head, causing his hat to tip at an angle. “Well.. We could always cut it off..” My eyes got wider. “Uh no.. Im fine with the sewing!” He nodded, and left the room in search for the ‘tools’. Looking around the shack, it wasnt as messy as I expected. Everything had a place.. a home. He returned shortly later with a shiny new needle, and some weird looking thread. “Ok.. Lets get this over with..” I think I blacked out shortly after he started, because I woke up later to the same smile looking over me. “How you doing?” His words were sweet and happy.. “Better.. A lot better.. Thanks.” He laughed. I have never heard his laugh.. It was so.. cute. “No problem.. Now.. Where do you come from?” “Minnesota.” He looked confused. “What? Where?” “Minnesota.. The United States!” Wow.. He must be a slow person.. “United States? Where is that?” “What? You dont know where the US is?” “US? Whats the US?” “UNITED STATES! U.S.!” He stepped back. “Woah.. No need to get mad.” “Fine.. Lets try this another way.. Would you mind telling where I am?” I waited for an answer.. “Oh.. Why, your in Wonderland!” “Wonder-what?” His happy voice faded a bit. “Wonderland!” “What country am I in?” “Country? Wonderland!” “Well.. Seeing that I have no idea where you come from, It looks like you are gonna be stuck here for a bit.” This diddnt bother me.. I diddnt really mind this place. It was accually kinda cool. " Oh… Ok" “So.. It looks like your going to be staying with me?” I nodded. “Good.. Only problem, I just have this old couch, and my bed..” “Oh.. Thats to bad..” “Well.. If you want you could sleep with me” Another smile slipped his lips. “Haha.. How many other people live here?” “Oh.. Not many.. They are all scattered throughout the forest anyways. Its mainly me and about 8 or 10 others.” Small town.. Wow. “There IS one person I want you to meet.. We can leave in a moment” He ran into what I think is his bedroom and retured with a whole new outfit. This time it was a red coat over a white shirt, black pants, and a blood red top hat. What really scared me was the fact that his eyes matched this hat too. Now they were a deep scarlet red. “Woah! Your eyes!!” “Hm?” He glanced in a mirror. “Oh.. Yeah..” It sounded like he wanted to avoid it, so I asked nothing more. He picked me up, and kicked the door open. “Ready to go?” “Yeah.” “Your gonna love it here..” And with that, we started down the twisting path.
