Lulz. I am not in any way associated with the development of Civ Wars, mate. Was merely stating what I knew. Furthermore, I didn’t mean any of what I said rudely, was merely stating facts.

First off : Gemcraft was ‘not’ the first game to use that form of world map style. Secondly, Gemcraft is a Tower Defense, CW is an RTS. Thirdly, they used entirely seperate engines, they’re just fairly similar. You might want to do your research before accusing a developer of ripping off another’s work.

And yes, I do know all of this for a fact, as I have been developing games for roughly a decade myself (Just not flash games.) and looked into the matter myself. Might wanna re-rate based on the fact that it’s a good game, instead of just assuming they ripped off a different game you happen to play. show less
