Developer response from Abigayl Do you mean demonstrations of the ideas for uses that I mentioned? No, I think your demo at the end showed uses of tweens. I refer to the motion behaviours that are now supplied with Stencyl 2.0. There are some useful behaviours supplied, two things would be useful, firstly a simple tutorial showing how to put them in use, which I don't really need, but I'd still watch it, but also it would be cool if there was a demo showing these behaviours specially some of the more complex ones like 'follow a path'. Because sometimes having stuff given and not knowing how to do it yourself isn't the most helpful thing in the long run.

I don't do premades by principle since I see far too many new developers using Forge behaviors (even official ones) and then don't learn even the basics of programming... then, when they want to make something bigger/better, they're totally lost since their programs had no solid foundation.

Good short and to the point tutorial Abi. I was looking at the Stencyl 2.0 news blog and the very good demo for the motion behaviours. It'd be good to see a mini tutorial demonstrating coding these into one's own games. They are supplied behaviours in 2.0 but I think it could be a useful topic for some mini tutorial'ing.

Really enjoying the tutorial series, wonderful step by step approach. I think the way the development of the tutorial game has progressed, it would be interesting to see each new development as an additional level, with the design for integrating levels into a game, with progress indicators, checking the score or achievement on each level to progress, a selector on the opening screen for picking opened levels and how to save level progress for the user between games in the sol / saved information.

Seems like my last reply got deleted somehow... I will try to fit as much of that into Tutorial 5 as possible. Thanks for the suggestions :) EDIT: I have just finished the foundation for Tutorial 5, and unfortunately, level select does not fit, primarily since I need to have multiple levels to show how to do a level select coding...

Game balance is good. It's a fun twist on minesweeper, didn't think someone could make that idea fun. I like the way you can solve it with different styles, pretty cool for a simple set up.
