well... apparently even hugging the side wall doesn't ensure you'll be able to take the exit... it's a little annoying to reach the exit and not be able to take it cause the game bugs...
why is the far right 3rd and last exit a dotted line on my map... I can't seem to exit on it... do you have to have some certain number of points or something to unlock that last path?
4: I do appreciate that you the prices drop for the upgrades as you buy them. Unlike other games where you x level costs the same amount regarless of whether you have the level below it.
5: Because it's nearly impossible to buy all the upgrades completing the 13 levels achievement is also nearly impossible.
6: Day and Level aren't necessarily the same... Make it clear what level the player is on.
7: Grenades seem to be a pointless waste of money. Unless you can use them first which you can't.
8: All in all a fun and fast paced game. I like that there aren't 50 levels to repeat the same thing over and over although a 120 sec game with more challenges wouldn't be bad either. 3/5 - fix up some of the issues mentioned here which are repeats of many points throughout the comments and you'll have a potential badge game.
1: Needs a restart button and why do you have to refresh after the game?
2: Extremely annoying that you can't collect all the coins at the end of the round. Why does it rush to the upgrade screen so fast?
3: Some of the Achievements pop early in the game which is nice on one hand but bad on another since you achieve all the high dollar awards midway through the game and have no way to make enough money to finish buying the rest of the stats.
Perhaps either balancing the cost of upgrades to the potential to earn money or add a few more Awards or find a way to space them so you don't get stuck hoping you might make enough money.
That's not a suggestion to make it easier but instead one to balance it so it's still hard but doable.
The Kong API needs to be added before badges can be given to the game. Hopefully Greg will talk to Ninjakiwi about it since the first Meeblings did receive badges.
I noticed that if I upgrade my damage to the max that I stop gaining XP and can then only earn upgrade points from controlling the flag points. Is this how it's supposed to work?
I also miss those one or two epic levels that allow me to fully upgrade my units.
As it is the longest level is 25 Waves and I barely have enough time or gold revenue to upgrade any single unit past Level 7 (the 90gp mark) as Level 8 requires 2000 xp and 100gp.
Anyway, for now 2/5.
Fix the bugs and work on the game balance.
Provide some feedback.
Add a decent epic level.
I really enjoyed the first two protector games.
#3 however could use some work if you want it to be the same quality as the first two.
Pros: The Awards system and Heroes system were an excellent idea. They both gave me a reason to care about playing other than just simply beating each map.
Cons: The Heroes are too expensive to place on the map to make them useful and the Award for using only Heroes on a map is impossible to achieve as far as I can tell.
The Tavern (at least for me) does not allow me to view the stats of any of my hired heroes past the second one and because of that bug I can't level the heroes in slots 3 - 7 rendering them useless to me and a waste of money.
The "Hard" Levels were pitifully easy and the "Medium" Levels were significantly harder than the word Medium suggests.
cont...
It would be nice if the 8-ball Rule Option for "Place Cue Ball Anywhere After Foul" would save permanently to the game save. It's annoying having to change that setting every time I load the game.
