Neat that you’d mention the Sub-2000 as I have one. The ballistics do change with barrel length, but not like this game presents it. Especially considering in the game, a .45 ACP does just a little more damage than a 9mm. And they have an Automatic Shotgun that does half as much as the 9mm.

Oh yeah, I agree there are a lot of problems with the game. I wish he’d fix the major bugs and game-breaking problems. It is pretty sad how poorly guns perform in that game in general. A feature I’d really like to see is having the “miss” rate based on where you are aiming – center mass shots should rare miss at those ranges.

How do you like the Sub-2000? I’ve been thinking about getting one.

Center mass shots would be a great addition. Reminds me of Fallout 1&2 with turn based combat where your chances to hit were determined by what you were trying to hit.

It’s an awesome firearm. The weight is all in the stock so is recoils like a .22lr. I can empty a 15 round magazine in about 6 seconds and still have all rounds inside a four inch target at 15 yards. I haven’t played with it at an outdoor range yet, but I don’t expect it to be any less accurate at longer ranges.

You can’t use aluminum cased ammo, though. Also, they don’t have their own mags, so you have to choose between Glock, Baretta, Sig, and S&W. So if you already have a 9mm handgun, get the Sub-2000 to match what you have for interchangeable mags.
